Gosh, I was getting excited thought they were getting it together.  "I realized I have been talking to the wrong Div." figures!

I just went back and looked at my letter. He said it was the 15th the day he wrote and he is doing Marlinspike tomorrow. I crossed my letters he put 6 letters in one envelope. He did good on inspections and is head po.. I guess i got too excited.I better pay closer attention to detail...urgghh They should be done with that now so ill have to wait and see..

That is great Mary. I wrote my SR a note on a sticky note that said "7 days no letter what is up with up with that???" I pasted it to Divisional bracket  If I know my son he is writing girl when he should be writing his mother!!  Shame on him!
I didnt get a letter :( maybe tomorrow but they have been coming on Wed. No news is good news blah blah lol

sorry Mary.  I know how that feels.  I want a SR that writes his mother!  I want to laugh at his wit.  I want to experience boot camp with him.

I need to let go!  lol but he is my baby......

to marytj'smom and Hismom...I feel your pain.  Your posts made me smile because I am feeling the same exact thing.  No letter for 8 days!!
arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh what is up with that?  I am glad I made you smile though.  They are sitting there doing nothing but about a million push ups and taking apart shotguns and putting pistols together after they clean them and ironing their underwear under a red light and learning how to march and fold a towell and how to shower with like 300 other men  they  have time to write !!!!!
LOL that is too funny !!!! LOL
My SR just joined Ship 9 DIV 131.  He was on medical hold for 2 months due to shin fractures.  Is your SR Grad & Go?

No letter today ...I agree HisMom whats a letter to dear ole Mom after all we did give birth lol!!! My SR is going to Pensacola FL for A-school after graduation.I guess they fly out Sat or Sun sometimes even Mondays depends on airline. The term grad and go is for those doing A-school at Great Lakes. Missing my son,it seems like forever since I seen his smiling face. I so miss him cracking jokes and saying im bored!!!

Dorrio that is awful about the shin fractures!!!  Never really knew how long 8 weeks could be till my son joined the Navy lol

Hi DorriO,

Yes I think he is from what he has told me in his letters.  The thing is that I am under the impression that Grad and Go meant that they would stay in GL for "A" school. What is your SR going to A school for? Welcome to the group :-) there is not very many of us on here, not sure where all the other members are.

Looks like Battlestations is April 7 and April 8.  WOOHOOOOOOOOOOO!!
