Welcome michaelq.

Hi traci729 and welcome.

I am glad to find more people from ship12/ div 163. I really like this site and the people that I have met have been nothing but great:):)  My son was so excited to be a part of the special group(not sure if I can mention the group..but you know what I am talking about since I see your picture). What is your daughters boyfriends name? First name only allowed I believe. My sons name is Brandon. There is one other that I know of from ship 12/ Div 163 and that would be michaelq...have you connected yet. He has a son in the group also.

@michaelq i am sorry I forgot to ask what is your sons first name?

I am so proud of them all too. I am sure that this is a difficult time for all of them, but it is also hard on us to.

Hi traci,

Thanks for the link. Have you met michaelq (her name is Julie) She has a Son in our ship/div his name is Alec. I am going to share the link with her too, I hope that you don't mind.

Facebook has a page called.....Navy Recruit Training Command and if you go and check it out you can look at pictures and they have some information on there as well. You are not allowed to leave comments about other non Navy Recruit Training Commmand....like N4M, They will delete it. I recommended on their site Navy For Moms and Navy For Dads sites and they deleted them both and sent me a message letting me know that it was not allowed. Their site had just posted a photo album with pictures from the Swearing In Ceremony at the Chicago Bulls.....I saw my Son in those pictures, maybe you will be alble to see a picture of your Son.

May will be a busy month for my family. Brandon's PIR date is 5/6,  My Daughter will graduate from Loyola University 5/12, my Husband and my 29th Anniversary is 5/16 and My daughter will be getting married Memorial Weekend. Brandon will not be able to attend the wedding because he will be in Califorinia.

Hi Julie,

There was an article in the newspaper about the swearing in Ceremony.  Here is the link for you :)http://www.lakecountyjournal.com/articles/2011/03/24/87979233/index...

Have you met traci (ship 12 div 163)? Her Daughters Boyfriend is in our ship/div his name is Ben. We are 3 strong in our ship/div....I am looking forard to talking to more Moms from our ship. I wrote to my son and told him to tell the others in his ship to tell their Moms to join N4m's....He probably thinks that I am crazy..LOL

Hi Michelle, After getting the FB message from you I decided to join you on here.  I was hoping for a letter today but no such luck ; (  Soon I hope!!

Hi Lynn and welcome,

Sorry that you didn't receive any letter yet, however it seems like none of us from ship 12/ div163 have either. I have read that it could take up to 3 weeks to see any letters, so hopefuly soon.

Have you friended michealq or traci (ship 12 / div 163) yet? They also have someone on the same ship/ div?

We are now 4 strong and hopefuly we will keep growing. This is a great site for learning what is happening to our SA's.

Anyone from Ship 12 Div 163 receive any mail/communication from there SR?  Nothing here yet, hopefully soon : )
