My daughter is in boot camp and she is having a hard time. I got my first letter and it was hard to read she is a sweet girl and makes friend quick, but since she is missing me she crys when she thinks of me. She said she has not made friends because the other call her cry baby. She is very strong but this is the first time away from her family. I told her the military is a family both her day and I were Air Force and had the best family away from our real ones. The friends I made in boot camp were great. Wish someone would just help her. Make this better for her. She is going into her 4th week and Graduates on 04/29 if she can make it.

Gabby, so sorry to hear this! I hope that since she wrote that letter, things have improved for her. It's hard on us, because how they are feeling on Sunday when they write may already be a distant memory by the time the letter arrives at our mailboxes. She will probably be writing another letter tomorrow, and hopefully things have already improved!
gabby i have not heard from my son and live in fear of something like that. I have a girlfriend that went into the Army who talked at length to my son and told him LET THEM BREAK YOU FAST CRY IT OUT GET IT OUT then its a breeze from there,  she was strong but just let them break her quick. I pray your daughter has overcome that now and will pray that God give her strength to become a warrior for all to look up to..

Gabby 19 Just hang in there hopefully things have gotten better for your daughter She sounds like a sweet girl who misses home but she still there and that says a lot . She's tough and once she shows them she gonna make it they may stop calling her cry baby. I hope she makes some friends if not I hope she realizes they weren't worthy of her friendship. Tell her were rooting for her and to hang in there shes almost on the backslide. Hope you take it easy too !

she called me yesterday day she is coming home she hurt her back and arm and they have decided that it best to send her home. She sounded so happy. just not for her... thanks for the kind words she is a very sweet girl.
Wishing her the best! Hope she is feeling better real soon and tell her to be happy and never give up being the sweet girl that she is . Did they say how long before coming home ? Good Luck !
