I thought I saw my son as well, but I'm not 100% sure. I did get a letter and they did Gas Confidence Chamber on 3/24   I thought some of their training was with females, as females are allowed to go EOD?

One thing you should do prior to PIR is to make sure your pages are private as well as turning off your latest activity on your personal page.  If you have questions about this please send me a pm.  If your recruit will be going to pre-buds send me a pm also.

Recruit Training Command has changed the departure procedures for Sailors being sent to A School. For recruits going to A School in Great Lakes; they will check in immediately following graduation where they will follow the schools policy on liberty. Sailors not staying at Great Lakes will fly out on Saturday depending on flight availability. For those few that do not fly out on Saturday, they will fly out on Sunday. key words here are flight availability - some may not fly out until Sunday.

807 is doing BS Sunday April 3rd.....we're almost there!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My husband made a quick call last night to finalize who is coming to his graduation. I believe he said that 808's Battlestations is next Sunday (April 3-4) night into Monday. He was really hard to hear. It was nice to have a few minutes to talk.
Just posted, but I have a question. My husband is staying in Chicago for pre-buds or whatever it is called and then will start his buds training. Has anyone heard how long they will stay in Chicago for this and when actual buds starts?
It will vary  depending on the group ahead of them and can be from 1-3 months depending on various things, like not passing tests, being rolled and when they are ready for them in CA.  I will be passing more info on the next phase after your PIR or you can send me a pm.
ok great thank u!

Hi everyone.  My son in Ship 04 Division 808! Getting ready to see our grads! Can't wait. Wondering what to do about an extra ticket, I understand we get 4 but I need 5 anyone have an extra? Do they allow you to bring a 5ht person and hope for an extra seat? Not sure how it works! BTW I get a great deal on flights form Atlantic CIty NJ to Chicago $29 each way!! So excited about that!! I used spirit $9 club great ya to go! Hope to see some or all of you Moms and families members at the graduation, getting close!! Enjoy your day.

If someone is under the age of 12 they do not count in the 4 person count and many recruits do not have anyone at PIR.  You can take a 5th person and they may have to wait until everyone is seated and then allowed in or they may get to go in with you. they do their best to make sure people get in. Great ticket price!!!
Thanks all my crew is over 12 so I hope that we can get the fifth one in with no problem. Yes what a great price!!! Hope to see you there! Good luck to them all!
10 days 9 hours to go till PIR  Woot!  Woot!!!
Can't wait! More excited than ever now!
