Hey Navy BF all i can say for myself is NO i havent recieved anything yet. Im hoping hubby and I will get a letter or a call this weekend.

as far as expecting something - they might be able to call home after 3 weeks

Hopefully all of us will get something very soon

Hi all!  My daughter-in-law received a call this morning.  It was just a quick call because he needed something faxed that wasn't put in his file from MEPS, but he said he was doing fine and she said he sounded good.  He also said they should get to make calls next week.
that is great news
Just heard that my daughter-in-law received 4 letters today!  Can't wait to hear details.

that is great news

hopefully Ill get a letter ot two tomorrow

First real letter came today!!!

I hope that everyone gets one today.

How awesome!!!! we also have talked to our daughter about paperwork she needed...she has recieved about 6 letters from family . we told her not to worry about writing to us. trying to make reservations..thinking about train...afraction of the cost compared to flying....cost $200 round trip..can't wait to see her
When I got home, I also had a letter, so maybe we can look forward to letters on Wednesday.  I also told my son not to worry about writing.  I actually made up a form letter with multiple choice answers and left a blank for him to fill something in.  That way he doesn't have to worry about answering my questions in a letter.  Then, I enclosed a self-addressed stamped envelope for him to just stick it back in.  I figure I can change up the questions each week based on what they are supposed to do that week.  He talked about the first couple days being really hard because he had been up for 40 hours without sleep.  He has 2 jobs in his division.  One is the road guard and the other is Dental Yeoman.  The road guard is the one who blocks the traffic until the division passes. The dental yeoman picks up appointment slips and writes up the sick slips for those having dental work done.  He said he was glad that he got all his dental work taken care of before he left.  He said the food is good and he is trying to eat healthier.  Since, he is the oldest at 32, he said the physical part was harder on him than the mental.  He has met a couple guys with the same rating as him, so he will have some friends when he gets to A school in San Diego.

I received a ltter today from my daughter and she is doing well.

Hopefully everyone will have a letter by the end of the week.

Hey moms and dads, did anyone get a call this weekend? I also hope you all had a great weekend.

thanks

Liddia

Liddia,

No calls here. I sure would have liked to have answered the phone and it have been my husband on the other end. However, no such luck.

Maybe this week or next weekend.

Our 1st wedding ann. is Tue 5 April and I would have rather spent it with him, maybe next year.

Hope all has a good day.

Happy almost Anniversary!!!
