For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

W OW - I am so happy to hear about Shane and all the good he has brought to his "adopted" division. That was really awesome. As everyone says, all things happen for a reason, we just don't know it at the time. I cried when i read the good news. (Seems like I do that quite a bit lately. :>)
I got word that my shirts should be arriving today or tomorrow so I'm really excited to see them when I get back to Tx on Saturday! Can't wait to land!!!
Sounds as if everyone is doing well and hanging in there for this last week. I really hope they do well at Battle Stations and I get to have a phone call! I've missed talking to that boy of mine!

Michele...That is wonderful news about Shane...He was placed exactly where he was needed. There was a plan!!! Never forget that, and the fact that he is a DIV 123.
Jenny...I too am praying that he will get that run down. I like the idea that Shane had as far as having a partner and chasing him. That does always seem to help!
T-shirts arrived yesterday...They are so awesome, cant wait to wear it!!!
I think I am more emotional the closer it is getting to seeing my son graduate, I seem to cry at everything I hear or read about the PIR, Battlestations, ect. I cant hardly speak about it without tears of joy and pride flowing down my face. Anyone else with this problem???

All the time Ann!
My husband just looks at me and says, "what now?" It's funny you try and explain things to "non n4m's" and they just don't get it!! But that's ok. Like my boys say, "It's all good!"
After the 8th we'll all be back to normal.........maybe. :>)

Hi everyone
My son's girl friend received a letter today. He was real sick and on bedrest but starting to feel better on Sunday. He had to make a lot this week by Thursday not to risk being held back.
Also, all Hospital Corpsmens mom my son was just picked to go to San Antonio for a start date of April 18. Unsure if all the group is going to San Antonio or a selected few. Hopefully everyone will get letters stating if there was any changes.

Hey Jennifer,
Now that sounds more inline with what my son said. He had told me that it was a 50/50 shot that he would go to San Antonio. He said that the Navy was considering sending a few corpsman prior to the 4/15 date to San Antonio to get a small class started before sending everyone there later in the month. There is still some hope then that he could go to San Antonio.
I know that would be less time with him after PIR for g-n-g but I would be able to drive over on a weekend and see him. So I am not against it.
