Does anyone know if they are going to be allowed to call when they pass battlestations?  Or will we have to wait to see them at graduation?

I spoke to my daughter on Sunday, and she said they would be doing confidence chamber this week.
I got to see a glimpse of my daughter!!!  She is in the front row of the choir picture, except that the leader's hand is pretty much covering her face LOL!  I can still tell it's her, though!!!

The pics were great.  I almost jumped out of my seat!  There he was!!  On the far right of the band pic.  Drum major.  I already have the pic on my desktop.  Nice to see he is still alive!

Got our 4th letter today and he said all is well with the group.  He hurt his knee, runners knee, and has been in medical a bit.  He was worried about todays PFA test today.  If he can't run he may get ASMO'd and pushed back a week or two.  I am so sad for him.  To be with this group, leading this group as their Petty Officer, and then an injury.  I pray he can get thru the run and the pain and graduate with the division.

Last inspection is this Tuesday (yesterday) and Battlestations are next Tuesday.  Not sure when the Captains Cup is.

Sunday night was BBQ night and he said it was good.  I've heard the night before PIR is pizza night.

Said to stop letters on the 1st because he won't receive them before he leaves.  So ladies, get the last one in the mail asap!

Almost there...hopefully with my son!

Otty, thanks so much for the information.  So sad about your son. Let's hope that he pulled through.  I guess the last letter will be sent tomorrow.  Did your son write about the gas chamber?  Saw my son in one of the PIR pictures too.  He's far away, but I realized it was my son.   He's the tall one!  I hope you are doing well.  Let us know about your son.  Take care!  Cheryl

Otty,

I am keeping your son in my thoughts and hope that he is able to stay strong and finish with our group.  Thanks for the info about the letters.  I just mailed my last one today.

No talk of the gas chamber.

Thanks for your words of encouragement ladies.  I didn't recieve the 'I'm ASMO'd' last week so I think he must have passed.  Whew.  Now one more week.

Hey what can you guys tell me about this parking pass.  I need to print one??

Yes, you should print a parking pass (maybe two) even if your husband is taking the shuttle to PIR.  He will need it to get your son back on base in the evening.  There is a password that came with the form letter.  So glad your son passed.  Didn't receive any letter this week from my son.  He must be super busy or tired.  Take care!  Cheryl
My SR told me that the RDCs read this page, and use things from it to embarress their recruits lol.
really? Well good thing its almost over, lol. By the way does anyone know when our sr go through battlestations?
Battlestations are the today, we should get the "I'm a Sailor" call tomorrow, so keep your phones with you!!!!
