Letters, Letters, Letters!  :)  Received a few letter today!  YEA!!

She said she didn't pass her run, but her swim/pushups/situps she did. I wondered when they sat around for almost 2 weeks how she would do on the run. Before she left she had her run at under 13 min. I am sure she'll pass it next time. She said when they got back they had 3 compartment hits, "which is a big deal"... they had 1 1/2 hour of IT.. she "thinks" most of them "got it", but the males were still running their mouths!  LOL  "Oh and BTW, when we IT the GIRLS are pushing the boys to do better. The males were crying, crying! It's ridiculous!"  (I found that hilarious)

She said they got pinned the other day, but the other laundry P.O. got pinned and not her.. She was bummed by that and said "basically I'm a nobody".. that made me feel bad.  I have no idea what the pinning is.  Oh well.. otherwise, she is doing GREAT! : )

Letters today aveomare???  :)

FANTASTIC Jenn!!

Ashley said basically the same thing about what's been going on. What is IT by the way?

Today I got 4!  I will post details in a bit =)

Okay, so my husband has made a lot of progress w/ his pushups and sit ups, he hurt his knee running, he said the chief is really pushing them hard.  He said, "we joke that we are aging backwards, the maturity level is about that of a 12 year old now, but the chief explains its a pack mentality and its bound to happen."  I'm glad all the "boys" (lol) are making friends!  He also made friends with a woman who is married and all the married people are  making plans for after BC to go out to dinner hehe.

He is getting a TON of dental work done.  Poor guy, his teeth were pretty messed up, so...I'm glad they are fixing them up though.  He is very happy to hear that I am taking our son to see his family all the time, and he is extremely proud of himself for providing us with good health insurance and of course, money!  He writes, "I hope you like the military me."  He says he is sorry for teasing me all the time before he left, maybe the military him is a nicer more appreciative person!  I sure do hope so! LOL

All in all the letters were very nice, our SRs are doing very well it seems!

aveo...it sounds like you got wonderful letters too... GOOD FOR YOU!!

I was talking to someone the other day about how so many people are going into the Military for a job and health insurance. All 3 opf my kids are going - well Ash already is but my 18 y/o daughter graduates in May and she is enlisting and then my son... it's the only way they are going to get a decent education...this financial mess has cost us a bunch of our savings and my business is dead. nothing going into college savings right now.

yeah, unfortunately I don't have a college degree and my husband's asoc degree wasn't getting us anywhere.  I found out that my mailman's grandson is in marine's boot camp (me and the mailman are tight now LOL)

I just signed up to Arise.com to work at home. It costs a little bit but my sister in law started doing it and is making on avg, $3000 per month!  I thought is was crap when she told me I had to pay for the certification, but when she showed me what she was making (out of her bedroom closet ROFL!!!) I was stunned. I'm in the admissions process now and I am hoping to pick a contractor that pays in ther $15 per hour range.

I dont think it even matters if you have a degree these days, I have a BA in Business Admin and I can't find a job either... I have friends whose kids are graduating from HArvard and THEY cant find jobs! It's sad!

I think the more education you have, the harder it is sometimes.  I was a nanny for a while, and I was told I was overqualified a lot of the time when I was looking for a new position!
YES EXACTLY... everywhere I went for a job, I was over qualified...what a bunch of crap.

Hey guys I saw this on anotehr post, you can order a FREE Blue Star flag... I ordered mine today.

I'm hoping we get phone calls home soon! It seems like ALLLL the other divisions are getting them lol

My husband said they will be able to make phone calls this coming week.  the 25th was 1-5, so that makes today 2-4.  So NEXT week is week 3 for them, they have marlinespike NEXT week, and phone calls too.  Plus, monday and wed they have written tests, and they need to pass inspection.  My husband mentioned that he spent 45 minutes shining his shoes. =)

Oh, and my husband said, "We are all getting close, even the females are lightening up"  hahahahaha!!!  I guess the guys think they are uptight =)
