For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Son was so nervous had to take a written test today. I hope he did well I feel like it's been a roller coaster ride he called told me he passed his run and now still nervous about this test . I know he is working super hard I am so proud He said has Battlestation Thursday and The I am a Sailor !!! and yes we all can breath and meet.

I know I have been thinking all day of the written test my son had to take. Definately like a roller coaster ride. I will be so relieved when I get that call Friday. BRING IT! :-)

I am learning through all of the different tests. My son's last letter was short and sweet.

should be receiving a letter from him tomorrow... what does your son's name start with, so i can ask T if he knows him... my crew has gone down some now that we found out he is a grad n go... it's just me, daughter and her son, GF and the new baby... figured we would save the money from the air fare, for hopefully a reception... we are hoping he gets leave after A school... where is your son's being stationed?... mine is going to Norfolk... what is there to do... sight seeing in the area?... just thinking of things we can do on Friday?... he might not want to do anything and that's fine too... but we are coming in early Thursday, so maybe the girls and i can do something if T doesn't want anything, but lay around and visit and eat... hahaha

Hi Christine: Awesome..I can't wait to hear what your son may have to say. My son is going to A school in San Antonio. He said in one of his letters he will get leave after A school for about 16 days if not going overseas, 21 days if going overseas. I am anxious to find out where he will go after A school...but then again part of me is afraid to find out. He is anxious to get his career going and he is has such a great attitude. Ohhhh there are LOTS of things to do in Chicago. There is the Navy Pier, museums, shops, restaurants. Taking the train to downtown Chicago is alot of fun too. What are your interest and I will give you some ideas. With my oldest, we parked our car at the Navy Pier and took pictures, then we walked several blocks to Rainforest Cafe. Since I have had my surgery, by the time of graduation it will not quite be 6 weeks so I do not want to do alot of walking especially if includes steps. I think we will find a really nice restaurant where we can just visit. I believe when we returned to the base with my oldest, he showed a few things on base. I think we even shopped at the base store. Oh my son's first initial of last name is B. Has your son been given a nickname? Mine has been given Vampire because of our last name. lol I did get a letter from my son yesterday. It sounds like div 139 is doing really good. My son said he passed all his inspections with 100%. He passed over and beyond his person physcial assessment. He asked me what is going on in Lybia. I just wrote him back with basic information. I guess the way the RDC are making it sound like we are at war with them. But..only really involved with no fly zone. I am look forward to hearing back from you.
