Hi all. :)
I know I saw a few moms out there today who mentioned their sons were in class 1101 starting in November. It'll be here before we know it!
For those of you who don't know, I'm Aaron's girlfriend. He's an EM who graduated A school in September. :)
I can't wait to get to know all of you, and hopefully meet you all in April! :)

We are staying at the villas and I know I am cooking supper for a "couple" of friends.  Which will be good for me. That way when he talks about someone, I'll be able to put a face to a name. So I'm game for a front yard get together.  Maybe those of us that are staying at the villas could get one of those little American flags and put them out at the curb.  I think Walmart and Party City have them for 99 cents.  If you are not staying at the villas you could come on over.
Sounds good. We're at the Villas. :) Although he has an apartment (it'll be official on Saturday when he picks up his keys), so I'm not 100% sure if we'll be staying there with his family.
We could probably come over but we don't get there until Thursday at noon.  Also, I don't know where the Villas are so we would need directions.

smithersk - That would work.  I don't think we can check in until after 3 anyway.  That would give you time to check in also.  They are not to hard to find.  I can give you my cell number and you can call me when you are on the way.  I'm willing to bet you sailor can drive right to them! (with a little help)

I am very excited to meet you!  I'll bet my son, Scott, can find you but you know what they say about smart people and their lack of common sense?  Well........ He is better since being in the Navy though. So, maybe a cell phone number would be good.

Thanks for starting this page Emily!  I haven't been on N4M in a couple of months.  I will be there next week.  My son, Nick, is an MM.  Is there any special info we need to know about for the graduation?

Can't wait to see everyone!  My son is so worn out and can't wait to come home and relax for a week :-)

I don't think there's any special info you need to know. I'm getting VERY excited for graduation though!! :)

Hello all....It's been several months since on N4M's site.  Thanks Emily for starting this discussion board for Class 1101 and graduation!  I'm so excited for the big day next week!  These men & women have work very hard and for some it was easy & others it was very hard.  My son Chase has really had to work many..many extra study hours to stay with avg. in class.  What an amazing accomplishment and commend all of you for your continued support & advice to each of these sailors!  It's so hard to always know the right thing to say and have them receive it positively.  Hope that makes sense....

I was reading in earlier blogs that were suppose to get an invitation for graduation.  Has everyone received theirs?  We haven't and now I'm worried....I know they still have exam this Friday and Comps next Tuesday..Maybe I'm fretting over nothing but that's the job of mom's..

Any help or information about graduation would be great!  Have a super day~

Hugs,

Janiece /Utah

I haven't gotten my invite yet either... He said it should be coming. I'm trying to wait patiently!

But I'll be there next week! Hope to get together with some of you! :)

Ok no invite today either.  Starting to feel slighted!  For those mom's that have received an invite will one of you post the time and location so that those of us that have not received one can "crash" this event?  Thank you.
No invite for me today, either. :( :(
Oh well. I'm going to be there whether they like it or not!!

Just let them try to keep us out!!
