Anyone else in Ship 3 Div 151? PIR 4/29

I do beleive we can meet them at Midway airport and stay with them before they go.  Had any one else heard the same.

?

As I understand it, they will be at the airport no later than 3am no matter when their flight leaves. The gates open at 5am. They won't know when they leave until they get their tickets. We may have a few hours with them or a whole day.

Hi Patti and DIV 151.

have you guys thought about a colored scarf or ribbon for PIR so your Sailor can

find you a little quicker?  With 9 TG at 80 sailors each, that's 720 milling around, trying

to find you.

Let me know what you guys decide, and I'll post it.  Remember, even if you hate the

color, you can tie the scarf around your purse/bag/etc....

   Thanks,      swim4life

Yeah I dunno what 151 is doing. No one really talks in this division section, so not sure if there's only a few of us on the website or what! 150 is doing yellow...Whatever color it is, we need to do it soooon!
Patti, It really doesn't matter to me. If you want to pick a color feel free. I agree...this is a quiet forum. From what I understand from my son all we are instructed to sit where their division will be. I will get more information from the facebook site. I understand their flag or their division number wil be posted somewhere. Not sure how this works. Did your recruit tell you what their division flag is?  It is a trident behind a shield with two stars at the base.

My recruit says he is carrying the division flag.

Patti,

I went to the facebook site and messaged an new PIR graduate mom. This is what seh had to say...

When you walk into the hall, there are signs indicating were the divisions stand. Get there early-we arrived at 7:00 and the bottom bleachers were nearly full. There is also an upper deck for seating. Sitting in the area of you SR's div number is recommended so that you can see him. We lucked out and got a bleacher seat on the bottom. Wear layers-it is cold up there being close to the lake area and it is humid but does get stuffy in the hall because everyone sits so close together :)))

No, she hadn't mentioned it. She just said get there early! Like...5am kinda early! Depending on if I have to walk far to get to the hall, I may be in a wheelchair so I'm guessing seating won't be too much of an issue for me. But, if not, then I'll be wobbling around like a duck.

Only colors I own are blue and purple so I'll be wearing one of those. I'll be bringing the laptop with me, so if need be, we can pick up a scarf or something when we are there. She asked that we all sit together, and I told her we all were planning on that anyway!

Gas chamber was today....yuck. Hope he heeded my advise and did not eat much for breakfast.
My daughter thought it was easy lol. Said it smelled like vodka and hot pepper sauce. She didn't vomit, just had a runny nose from it. I really thought that was gonna be the one thing that did her in. Guess I was wrong!
did anyone else's SR get on the computer? my boyfriend emailed me about 15 minutes ago...so random! but a happy surprise!!
Your very lucky!!!!
