@docsmom - My son is in ship 11 div 185 and will be a corpsman as well.  Have you heard if your son will be staying in GL or going to San Antonio for "A" school?  Very proud momma also.
to docsmom & TK:  My son is also going to be a corpsman (ship 7 div 188) & going to SA as far as I know.  I live about 100 miles north of SA, so I'm a proud momma who's excited that I'll get to see him some for a little while at least!
My son is in same division.  He is going to Charleston SC for A school.  We live in Nor Cal so that is about as far away as he can be -- coast to coast.  He is excited to live somewhere else though and we will have fun visiting.

TK~ He will be going to SA as well.  Have you heard when they will be leaving GL?  Have you gotten any letters yet other than the form letter?

Hi my son is ship 09 div 192.  I have only one kid and that one went to the navy.  I am very proud but i miss him much.  have you got a letter of phone call yet.  do you know when to expect one.

Hello! I'm new to the site and this is my first group join. My son is Ship 04, Div 812.  Got his address 2 days ago, so sent him a 4-page, single spaced letter I had been working on. He's going to freak out when he sees it!  Sent two pictures. I hope they don't get in trouble for having pictures. Oh well, doing push-ups is good for him. He is going SWCC. Anyone else with this PIR date going SWCC?

My son is also Ship 04, Division 812. He is a rescue swimmer.  What is SWCC?
