Hi Laurel, We will be staying at the Ramada, and plan on going to the meet and greet. That is what made me decide to reserve at the Ramada   ; ) I look forward to meeting all of you.
Great Mary. I felt a little choked up when I read your comment about your son sounding tearful when leaving a message for his GF.  This whole experience is really emotionally difficult isn't it?  I find myself either bursting with pride or crying over the littlest stuff every day.  We will look forward to meeting you there.
It is a comfort to have each other to lean on or support when they need it. I thank all of you.
I thank all of you so much. And yes, it is very nice that he has his brother there with him to give him our messages, and also to give support to each other. I'm sure that after this they will be closer than most brothers. I pray that all of your SR's are doing well and that everyone hears from their loved one's soon.
I say take the phone EVERYWHERE! I do. put it on vibrate. I take it in church......everyone knows if i walk out with my phone it must be b calling! Im not going  to miss it. He called my sister and she answered thinking it was a customer....she said this is Nikki can i help you....hey its brandon...she said hi brandon how can i help you?  Sometimes it takes her some time to get it,,,LOL she said OMG Brandon! LOLNow she knows what area code to look for...LOL
You're right about that. I'll even put it on the nightstand when I'm sleeping, and bring it in the bathroom when I take a shower LOL

So funny.  How can I help you?  Sweet of him to call her.

He called her because his GF is always with her and she does not have a cell phone. (?)

My sister works from home so when she goes out she trans. the calls to her cell phone. So she saw the strange area code and just assumed it was a work call...LOL They were just about to get in the tanning bed. My sister said the GF broke down in the tanning salon. She was crying and everyone else in the shop was crying. I know she was happy to hear from him but I kinda wish she would have been more upbeat! Oh well she is young and just does not have the controle of her emotions like us old moms do...LOL LOL

hahaha that is funny about your sister! and I do, I don't even have my phone on vibrate anymore, I don't care if it goes off when I am in class or whenever, people just don't understand how important the call is!!!
The only time that I put it on vibrate is if I happened to be at a yoga class. From now on, I'm just leaving it on. If it rings, Oh, well!  Namaste
and where is the meet and greet? is it at the ramada?
It is.  One of the other Moms/Wives organized it.  If you look under the events tab you will find it on 5/25.  I will definitely remember to look for you and Julie.
