have you received a letter yet?? I have not gosh it makes me sad-just miss him so much

got long letter yesterday. he said they had from 8am till 1pm free to write or shine boots etc

he said first day they were made to tie boots so tight his feet went numb and ears were ringing and he broke out in a sweat. I wanted to go get him! he says they are more broke in now and they do march everywhere. Says it's worse standing still for long periods. got lots of clothes, are charging over 900.00!

reports food is good. has to shave alot.

I got a letter too-said he passed a swim test    said he would love to get letters!!
so nice to get a letter full of info!!!
@pattb - I rec'd a letter but he didn't write anything about the swim test.  I'm assuming no news is good news.  I miss him so much.  I write him everyday.  Read what I wrote to jquzan.  Keep in touch.
@jquzan - Oh my, the boot story makes me sad.  My son did say they march everywhere they go.  He said they wake up about 5 or 6, put their boots on and go to the toe line and wait for the next order.  Only have about 5 minutes to brush their teeth and shave.  Also said during meals they can't talk.  I miss him so much.  Keep in touch.
