Good Luck and God Bless Divisions 149 and 150 as you embark on your biggest adventure yet!  We are all praying for you and cheering you on to victory!

Good Luck Divisions 149 and 150! You have alot of friends and family praying for you.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Phillippians 4:13

This has been mine and my SR's verse throughout Basic Training.

AMEN!   That has been ours as well! Jesus is in the midst of them.

Matthew 22:37-39

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.

Jesus is in the midst of them

This really struck me when you wrote it. I prayed it over the divisions all night. For Jesus to be right in the midst of them, just as the angel was in the midst of the firey furnace with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abendego. I slept very little and prayed much. Praying for them to pull through this last 20 minutes. I know they can do it!

That is exactly what I was referring to - Shadrach, Meshach, and Abendego!  I told J that before he left for Boot Camp- I am praying he held that with him as he went into this last test!  I am so appreciative for all you Christian Mom's support - I am claiming victory for all of them.
Battle Stations is underway for 149!  I am crazy with not knowing what is going on!  Only have received 2 short letters and 1 phone call from J in the entire 8 weeks.  I am guessing girlfriend is getting all the letter time here.  I am so nervous for my son and am praying....
"Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble of heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden light."
Matthew 11: 28-30

May our SRs burden be light and the teamwork strong to carry the load!

Good Morning Everyone,

I was doing a lot of searching last night and came up on this site where they list the Honor Recruits and Award Winners so thought you might like to know.  This should be updated for our graduates (4/29/11) pretty soon, right now it reflects 4/22/11.           http://www.bootcamp.navy.mil/honor_grads.asp

Battle Stations are now (hopefully) Over for our SR's.....Pray for phone calls today!

Okay  ladies,  So emotional as time for B. Stations is about up and the capping ceremony gets underway.  Reading the verses you have shared sure strengthened me this morning.  R's and mine was from the old testament:

Jeremiah 29:11   For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

He carried a small new testament with him and I wrote this verse in the front.

Bless your heart! J carried that army camo small bible with him he got from someone passing them out to the guys after he left MEPS- All these versus are such a blessing - they have strengthened me too -  i don't think my mind is on work today.

Good Afternoon Ladies!

I just got off the phone from my "Sailor"! He sounded good, but very tired. They have been up for 36+ hours. I can't wait to see him next Friday.

My son is a sailor!  Plus he was promoted to E3!  I am so very proud of him. Congratulations to Div 149, all passed except for one.
