While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

SHIP 12 DIV 165

Hello ladies and gents, I thought I would set up a link just for our division. I know that our color scarf is to be yellow at PIR. I also have found out that our recruits will be getting 2 division t-shirts that they can give to whom they want. I have no clue who is setting up this division meet and great yet. so if anyone wants to take care of that please do. I dont know where I will be staying at yet. Ill post any more news as I get it. have a great day.

Sometime tomorrow, we will be able to print gate passes, so that is exciting! One step closer to PIR. I know one division from ship 12 got to call today, but they were 5 minute calls. They had to go to NEX and were told they could make a quick call. Since ours got to call a few days ago, I didn't think we would receive calls, but it would have been a nice surprise. My DIL came out for dinner with us, so we would have all been together and got to say a quick hi.

Has anyone heard of a definite night for battlestations for our SRs? I have seen some posts that said Sunday night; then others that said Monday. Just ready for next week to get over and then it is downhill!

Hope everyone has a good week and can't wait to see everyone at PIR.

Start Monday night (May 2nd) at 8 p.m. and end on Tuesday morning (May 3rd) at 8 a.m. They will make calls sometime in the afternoon.

Please keep me in your prayers. I'm getting hit by tornadoes left and right. I'm just glad my husband doesn't get any news or he would be sick with worry.

Where do you live? We have had lots of tornadic activity in Arkansas also. A town that isn't far from me was hit with an EF2 Monday night and the Little Rock AFB was also hit and I live between both places. One was spotted in our area and we were told to take cover, but luckily nothing touched down. Will definitely keep you in prayers.

I live in Alabama. My hometown, Cullman, has been destroyed. It's so heartbreaking.
