Great picture!! Just think in 12 days you can see him for real!!! Hope you had a wonderful EASTER!!

Hi Ladies!  Got home around 9:30AM today. Traffic was GREAT!! We left MB around 5PM yesterday, so we made really good time. We stopped at IHOP around 12"30AM to eat and re-group. I drove for about 2 hours after that, then coudlnt' keep my eyes open and the lights and my glasses were not mixing well.. ughhhhhhhhh old age! LOL  Hubby picked up driving after that and drove all the way home. I was quite useless this trip, driving wise!  :/

Got 2 letters from Charity while we were gone. She passed her PFA! :) YEaaaaaaaaaaa.. and sounded good.. they are all getting the "can't wait to be done w/bootcamp" fever!!  Soooooooooooo close.

The trip down was a NIGHTMARE!!!  We had just gotten our van back on Fri., before we left, at 4 PM.. we had a new engine put in. We got 4 1/2 hours on the road and our altenator went.. ughhhhhhhhhhhhhh.. so we got towed to a garage and they drove us to a hotel and then they fixed it on Sat. AM.. we were on the road again by 1:30PM and $600 poorer!  I really feel like money is hemorraging out of us this month! ughhhhhhhhhhhhh  $2000 for the new motor, plus another $600, just for the van alone.. vacation in MB and now the trip to GL.. Oh well.. we could have opted out of vacation, but it is our once a year family vacation and I just didn't want to forego it, esp. since we didn't go last year.  After we left on Sat. at 1:30PM, we ran into bad traffic, then we went through NC right after the tornados.. so we didn't get to MB til 4AM on Sun.  the rest of vacation was AWESOME.. great weather and great time with my family. (My brother and his family, my sister and his family and my parents all went)

Anyways.. hope you are all healthy and well!  Can't wait for this week and next to FLY by!

So glad you made it back safe & sound!! Sorry you had car trouble before & during your trip!! But at least everyone is safe & sound. 12 more days and we get to see our SR's!! I am so excited & cannot wait for PIR!! The time cannot go any faster for me. Unfortunately after we come back from PIR I go back to work after being off for 8 weeks. :-(. I have enjoyed being home even though the first 3 weeks I was in some pain. I havent been off work for any length of time like this since Marissa (my SR) was born almost 20 years ago!! The only time off I take is my 4 weeks vacation I get every year. 1 week we take is the 2nd week in July and we go to Wolfe Island Canada. We have been going there since my oldest daughter was 9 months old and she is now almost 25. My husbands whole family has been going up there at the same time. His brother & family, His 2 sisters & their families & my inlaws. But now its jst my mother in law & her new boyfriend. My father in law passed away 7 years ago from cancer! We love going up there. The guys & kids fish & swim and kayak and us girls pretty much sit in the sun all day eat & talk. No TV no phones(except cell) nothing electronic for the kids to be glued to. They actually entertain themselves outside!! LOL

Hope you had a good Easter holiday!

They are all getting phone calls except for us!  And they all know when they have BS except for us as well.  I'm starting to feel very left out LOL.

Hope we all get letters today with some good news in it!

I got another letter today from my SR, but she didn't say when BS was.. she wrote on the 19th.  She said last week was kinda a slow week.. she didn't mention the gas chamber... is that this week or was that last week?

I was hoping for a call  yesterday also.  :(  I guess we won't get another call til the "I'm a Sailor" call.  :)
Don't forget to go to the RTC site and print out your gate pass.  ;)
WOW.. sooooooooooooooo close girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is so bittersweet. Hugs sent your way. :-}

You are gonna need to tell him to "STEP AWAY FROM THE BANK ACCOUNT" when he gets out of BC Sarah!  LOL
yeah, you're noticing a trend too?  Every page was filled with things he wants to buy.
Anyone hear when 925/809 are doing battlestations???????? Someone thought Monday, I guess they do theirs last. Which makes sense, b/c they have to perform on Fri.  So anxious to hear news on this!
well, div 924 just got their calls, and they graduate Friday.  So I'm thinking 925 might be one of the last divisions to go.
809 is going sunday, I'm not sure if 925 goes with them ?
I think 925 will due BS21 Monday into Tuesday!! I hope they go with 809 Sunday into Monday!! This waiting is driving me CRAZY!!! I have not gotten a letter from Marissa since last Thursday!! I was hoping one would have come yesterday but I did not get one!! So looks like it will  be my normal Thursday mail. Tomorrow I am mailing her contacts & 1 weeks worth of solution to her, RTC said they could get them only if they arrive the week of graduation. So if I mail them tomorrow she should get them Monday/Tuesday is what I am thinking. She will be so excited to be able to wear them for graduation!!
