OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

I have not been doing much of anything these last few days but mope and check online.  I have read everything on this site since I found it, just about 5 days ago.  Why I haven't made the search earlier, I don't know.  It would have made his leaving for BC less traumatic.  But then again, I have been in denial until we exchanged our goodbye hugs on Monday...

I would love to hear from others whose loved ones share the same ship/div.  Mine will go to Nuke school later on and I'm so hungry for more news and info.

Daisygoodman are you following with us on facebook RTC?
Daisy, everyone on N4M is telling me no news is good news!! No phone call so HOOYAH!! I pray!!
I hope no news is good news because that's the only thing he was worried about. It scares me and I'm nervous.

I got no call so hopefully as is well.  I asked RTC on facebook yesterday if they failed if we would have heard from them that day and they said yes....Shew he said he was gonna do it and with all the prayers, I know God was there by his side showing him he had the strength to succeed as well as the others that needed to pass.  Thank you for all your prayers...

all is good you guys! I feel it!
Yeay Linda's son and everyone else's too!
well we didn't win captains cup, but we are going to pass battlestations! division 155 rules!

Second place is not too shabby at all.  Good job 155!

i got a call from my son he said he was in "recruit heaven"  about 30 minutes. then i told him to go have fun! stressful week past and one coming up!
Battle Stations tonight!  Good luck 155!!!

Since we're all actively crazy down at FB, I really don't visit this particular thread much anymore.  But I thought we should get a little something for Sue and Brian and I didn't want to bring it up on the FB page where they can see.  I know it's very last minute but even a card or something will be great...just to show our appreciation for what they do.

Suggestions?

Menchu

I love this idea. We should all sign a huge card and the whatever else anyone comes up with. Thanks for suggesting this!!
