I know how you feel. I'm still waiting for a letter from my girlfriend. Hoping to get home from work and find a letter waiting.
I got a call this morning!  It was so great to hear my son's voice!!  He sounded so calm.  I got 5 minutes with him.  He had his wisdom teeth pulled Fri.  Then back at it today.  I felt bad that he had to have them out without us around,.  Sunday, they got their first mail.  They also were allowed to write.  So I will be looking for a letter, maybe by Wednesday!  Hang in there.  You'll get your call soon!

2nd Son, Is your son in Ship 11/Div182? Happy you got a call.

That is where my son is,,,,
Yes, he is.  He was looking for an address, when he called.  He also called his wife right after.  I am so glad we both got the call.  Made his Mom's day!
:( hummm why didn't i get one? I am so bummed.
I am sure you are feeling sad.  It will happen, just about the time you are thinking of something else!  Don't worry. I think it depends on the officer in charge. You get so much info, it helps if you have a pen and paper!  I think I forgot half of the stuff he talked about.  You know they are in good hands. Keep your chin up Deniseg67!

Just missed a call from my son.  Sitting here at computer and since I think phone calls will be on Sunday, didn't jump up to check who it was.  He left message, going to call his sisters and try me back later.  Frustration!!!

Aloha,

My son talked to his sister and father.  But during phone call with dad, yelling in the background and he said, "Gotta go!"  Never got my call back.  But he told his sister that everyone was sick and they were going to get a "peanut butter shot". Don't know what this is, going to research today.

I think the peanut butter shot is antibiotic. My son could not get because he is allergic to augmentin. I received a call from my son yesterday morning. I was soooo happy.
Yes, the peanut butter shot is penicillin. Augmentin is a form of penicillin.
My mom got the first letter from our SR today.  It was dated 4/18.  Waiting for my first letter.  Week 4, halfway through!!
