OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

I just got the letter from RTC with Ashley's address and grad date (May 06,2011) Does anyone else have a future sailor on the same ship and division?

My hubby actually took his contacts with him, and I guess they let him keep them because they weren't in his box. I, too, hope they go sooner then later. I can't wait to get that call. I cannot believe we only have 9 more days to go, its crazy.

Hello Everyone!
Eight more days!!!! I'm sure you all are as excited as I. Has anyone heard of the rules or know how long A-School is?
My oldest son is getting married in Nov and wants his brother (SR) to be the best-man. According to the recruiter our SR should have completed it by then but now our SR writes that he be wont be able to see us for long cause he is a Grad & Go but doesn't start till June??? Hoping that there is a misunderstanding.

DJMom... Every recruit is told they will be leaving Sat. from GL. They changed the policy in March! :( I am hoping and praying that my SR doesn't get a Sat. flight out, but I am not banking on it!

My son is the Damage Control PO for 925 (at least he wrote he was a few weeks ago). The DC PO is basically fireman, I think. So, I'm sure our sons got to work, or put out fires, together this week! lol My son is going to SA for Corpsman school.

I wish I had news to share! My SR just does n.o.t. write. Literally, I got half a page! I think he thinks it's like emailing--a little blurb here, a little there! Jheesh! So, I rely on YOU guys :)
