I did not get a letter either!!! Hoping tomorrow...Thursday is our "normal" day to get letters!! Will let you know if & when I get one!!
Hi, can't believe you girls (and your recruits!) are almost done! DON'T stress about BS..just pray they work together well, remember all the stuff they learned and help each other out. My son said it was great, and starts off with stuff they already have done, low key stuff,  then it gets a little unpredictable. Basically they have to keep their cool, problem solve & work together to remember what procedures to use for situations. The facilitators taking them through BS are good, and the bottom line is that he thought the whole thing was really cool...although tiring. He didn't give specific details of stuff because they aren't supposed to, so that divisions after them have the same experience. (Boy, that homemade tomato sauce sure would taste great...wonder if anyone has their grandma's recipe? Hmm....=)

<hanging head in shame>

If you only knew how horrible it has been here the last few weeks LOL I am ready to pop a jar of Ragu at this point LOL. Email me sister so I have your address and I will get it to you one way or another!!.

I got 2 letters from Charity today.. she said ALOT of Div. 925 are sick and the div. is a hurting unit right now. Pray they all get healthy and strong for Mon. BS!

She said the last PFA was Tues.. so i am thinking, if no one got a call, then their SR passed the PFA! :)  They are busy studying for the final test and gearing up for Captain's Cup on Sat. then BS.. she didn't say when BS were, but seems like from what DK said, Monday. WHY DO WE HAVE TO BE THE LAST TO GO???????? waaaaaaaaaa  :(  LOL

She said their chief does not believe in calls!  LOL why we only got one the whole time!

OHHHHHHHHH and Bchattam just told me her SR, got nominated by our div. for honor recruit!!  YEA! Go Hallie! :)  She was the RPO for the div.  So proud of her! I told bchattam that getting through bc was hard enough, esp. w/that responsibility!

Congratulations on Bchattam's SR! It feels so good to be sooo proud, isn't it?!  Major thoughts/prayers/crossing of fingers this Monday!

OMG!  I got a letter for Dept of Navy saying that my son will get a special award at PIR and we need to check in early for reserved seating.  I'm SO proud of him!  I also got a letter from him and he loved performing last Friday at the PIR.  He said it was a tease because he can't wait for his PIR!  He is also sick with a sinus infection but pushing  through.  I sent him the surveys and his responses were AWESOME and he loved getting the surveys. He also said he knows a few SRs that have moms on Navy moms and know me.  LOL   I just can't wait for next Friday!!!!

Congrats to Bchattam's SR for her nomination!!!  Can't wait till next Friday!!!!!

Oh wow, that is so amazing!  Congrats to you and your SR!!
Oh no, that sucks,  I have another hour to go before the mail gets here.  I hope its good news.

okay ladies, what have you been telling your SR's?  My husband had to show some of the girls my pictures b/c they had heard he had a pretty wife.  So thank you for that ego boost, that was  nice!  hahahaha

My husband wants me to have a map of the base, I guess I can get that printed out?  He said he hopes he doesn't get sick, because  a lot of them have pneumonia.

He told me that the chief had checked their Div picture on the RTC FB page, and went back and told my hubby that I was all over the comment page.  The chief wanted to post something, but held back!

My hubby has gotten 2 ribbons for graduation.  He made marksman with a 9mm pistol.  He was so excited that he mailed out a separate letter to let me know.

I kept asking him if he felt like he had changed, he said he was still the same guy and I shouldn't worry.  This was a good letter to get today.  He had a lot of questions for me, but unfortuantly, its too late to answer all of them, so he's going to have to wait until I talk to him on the phone.

Oh, and he mentioned his stupid laptop again.  He's lucky I love him so much. lol

I got 2 letters today!! They were short but thats okay!! She said BS was Monday night and she expects to call Tuesday!! She also asked me to mail her contacts, mascara, eyeliner & blush. Her RDC said they were allowed to have them for graduation. Well I had already mailed her contacts today before I got her letter so I had to hurry & run back to the post office & mail her makeup so it would get there in time!! What we dont do for our kids!! LOL. She said she is glad bc is almost over and is looking forward to A School!!! Marissa mentioned in last weeks letter that she got the marksman award for the 9mm pistol also. The person that was watching over the firig range booth told her she did very well. Did not get expert but she got the marksman for the 9mm!!

Bernadette Chattam!!! Way to go girl on your Sr getting elected for Honor Recruit!!! You must be so proud!!! I know I am & she is not even my daughter!! Sounds like we have a good group of recruits for Div 925!!

I say a prayer everynight for our Div 925 to get through the next day and to keep everyone healthy!! Special prayers are going out Monday night for BS!!

Hey Deb,

How have things been @ home? Havent heard much from you lately? I hope things are going better, Keeping you in my thoughts & prayers!!

Cheryl
