Hello ladies...

I wrote on the main page, but I wanted to talk to you ladies....N showed up for breakfast this morning!!!!! I was at the stove and heard the door open...turned around and there he was...grinning and saying "Happy Mother's Day!" It took a minute for it to register and then I realized it really was him!!!!! We had a great day...just simple things like walking the dogs...getting ice cream...hanging out! We got to have long talks...that is probably one of the things I love the most when he comes home...the talks.

Elizabeth, it sounds like T is in his class and they go eat together.

Well ladies...it is late and I just wanted to wish you all a very Happy Mother's Day!

Love and Hugs to you all!

Penny

What a special surprise Penny  -  he is such a great guy, so thoughtful.  I am happy for you!  :-)

Penny-I also posted on the main page, but really…what an incredible surprise. I bet it did take a minute to process… too funny. What a neat time for you, glad you were able to get a little extra time.

Penny.....what a nice surprise!  You are so lucky to have him near.  Don't think about tomorrow, enjoy the time you can have with your boy today.  You will learn to deal with the tomorrow, life is too short.
Thanks Rose! I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day too!

Hi ladies,

I don't know if any of your sailors are going, but N is really excited for this. Check it out.

A had Duty on Saturday and Watch early Sunday a.m. so no NY visit for him with his buddies.  I've enjoyed seeing the pics N has been posting.  They look so sharp in their dress whites!

Hello ladies,

Long time since I don't post.  Jo is doing well, like A school.  He keep calling once a week which I'm glad, always thinking that may be he got there he will call for a few days and them forgot but is been 7 months and he keep calling, yay!!!  We are planning to visit him in July.  He told his little brother he is looking forward to see us and I'm happy to hear that.  He is coming home September 9 for two weeks then to what ever they send him.  We talk about his last graduation and he told me since we coming in July don't even bother just save the money because he wants to go to Orlando for a couple of days.  We decide not to go and wait here for him. Down here yesterday was the last day of school now off until August 18.

Nancy....happy to hear that you saw I.

Nice to hear our Sailor are doing fine.

Have a nice weekend,

Rose

Hi Rose,
I am so glad to hear that Jo is doing so well! how are things going for you? Are you out of school yet? I imagine you are out, or very close to it. IB is doing well. He has relocated and is with a couple of guys, one who is from nearby.
They are all talking about where they would like to be stationed. We will see what will happen. J is about a month ahead. Of IB. IB says he thinks he will graduate around October 7th. That would work well with my vacation, so I hope if anything it goes later, rather than moving up.
Amazing to think that time is passing so quickly!
It sounds like all is well with you and that everything is ok. Try to make it to the chat on Monday night. 6 PM pacific time Monday night. I added it to the Calendar, so we should get reminders and we can see who shows up. I have Open House on Wednesday, so I may not make it this week.
Stay in touch,
Nancy
