I know, I didnt get one either...but at least we didnt get a bad news call :o)  Did he call you last week after they took thier test where they had to score 4.0 or better?
Nope. I haven't gotten 1 call from him. He's got a calling card, too. :(  I stayed home yesterday and carried the phone around with me wherever I went so's not to miss him. Not happy!
I was hoping for that call too, even though I read somewhere (possibly FB) that they wouldn't be able to.  I read that there are around 5,000 SR's in Great Lakes and the only ones that would be calling are the ones scheduled for calls and eligible, nothing to do with it being Mother's Day.  Boooo!

I was so hoping for a call yesterday.  feel sad they were not able to call.  Has anyone heard if they are doing better?  the last letter was I received they had the "beat down".  Ihave my phone with me always just in case.  I sure wanted to talk to my son for Mother's day.  I hope you all had a nice day depsite not getting a call.

What's the "beat down"? That doesn't sound very good. Well, I hope things get better for them. Hate to have them not graduate on time due to some defiant recruits. Got my phone too.

I didn't receive a call on Mother's Day either.  Was really not expecting one, but was hoping for one!  I'm curious to what "beat down" is also??????  Hope someone answers this question for us.

Also, my husband and I have made reservations at the Navy Lodge for graduation.  All I know about it is what we read on the website.  Does anyone know anything about the Navy Lodge?  Hoping it is a nice place to stay??????

Claudie :)

We are staying at the Navy Lodge also.  I hear it's a good place, someone says if you want internet you have to pay for it.  I just know its close to the base.

Thanks for letting me know.  It looked like a good place on the website, so I'm hoping it will be.  Yes, being close to the base is one of the main reasons we wanted to stay there.  Maybe we will see each other there!

I'm staying at the Red Carpet Inn. They'll have a shuttle back and forth from graduation. I hope it's nice.

We are at Red Carpet Inn as well.  Maybe we will see you there!

I so proud you got a call! What is your sons job when he graduates?

I hope they are all doing ok up there!  The last letter I recevied was last Thursday.  Hope for one soon.   has anyone heard how they are doing this week?  I know  there was still some things going on with pulling together as a team
