fa4airtran - so glad you got the detail of the written test and the new flag. Glad to hear that. Maybe your SR and mine can run together to get mine's time up.... kidding, but that's the only part of the pt he has to work on .
I'm counting on the 31 days - can't wait for this to be behind us all. So far to go, but look how far they've come.  Thank you Cathy.  I just love our little group.  We're small, but we certainly can relate to one another.

Cindy,

Hope u didn't mind me calling last night. I knew you guys lived in Social Circle & got your number from information. I was so distraught at missing the call I thought I might catch you before your SR called & he could tell mine to try back again.

Am better today because it is one day closer to seeing him. No letter today but I really didn't expect one since I got one yesterday.

I am thankful for the connection of this group too. Helps to know you are not going through this alone and that my feelings are "normal." What an emotional time!

I was so glad you were resourceful enough to call!  I hated I couldn't do anything to help. I totally understood!  Am glad you're better today. I am, too, but I have to admit still in a bit of a funk.  I wanted to ask, but sometimes, you just don't need to have to talk about it  ...I was just following your comments here and there.  I hope you have a great day today and we'll count on being 1 day closer!

I

I have a son in Ship 09/Div 205.

Hi kackley1231, did you receive your phone call yesterday?  I hope you were able to speak with your son!!

I MISSED it!  I can't believe it!  I'm so sad!  He was able to call my in-laws and speak with them.  Boo hoo :(  From now on my phone is not leaving my side!  It was weird though, the missed call's ID said it was from NY??
I'm so sorry you missed your call!!  Hopefully they will be able to call us again!!
Yes, welcome to the group. I feel your pain. I missed the call too.
Welcome to our little group, Kackley1231. Glad to have you aboard! Nice to hear from someone else in our DIV, I know we've all wondered about who else may be out there. My son said something about getting to make a 5 minute call soon. It took a long time for him to reach me last night. Hopefully, we'll get to hear from them again before Battle Stations.
i have been reading here for a couple days until I got approved to sign in!  My son is on this ship also...I have gotten a nice call and nice letter. His fiancee has too, so we are lucky....At the halfway point now. I think they have their really tough work coming up. Looking foward to graduation and all the celebration.
Hi Janetop, it's nice to have you in our group!!  Thats great you received his call.  I had a 30 min. conversation with my son on Monday night.  It was so nice to hear his voice!!  I'm looking forward to another letter, hopefully tomorrow!!  Enjoy your night!!
