Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

My son left May 5th, and it sure was bittersweet! It's just what he wanted, and I want him to be happy, but I realized that he is not likely to live around here any more. I will miss him. I'm looking for the kind of personal form letter that I found once on this site- a letter to send to your recruit and they just fill in checkmarks- saving them time, but we get to hear from them. Do you happen to have seen these and know where to find them? I copied ideas from one and was hoping to do it again. My son DID send it and I was thrilled to get SOME news from him. : ) I'm guessing our son's are in completely different battalions....

okarai24 ~ I found those questionaires somewhere on this website. Maybe in groups or forums. It's titled "questionaire" I think. I printed them all out and took what I wanted from all of them and made my own. Cute idea, good for boys, I may actually get it back with alot of my questions answered! Good luck, I am just happening on things as I look in different areas. Still havent found anyone with someone on Ship 03, Div 218. Still no one out there? Am I in the wrong place?

Hi I have a girlfriend that is on ship 02 DIV 934. Today is now 5-25 I wrote 10 pages of letters yesterday but still have not received a letter but I imagine one will be arriving soon. Does anyone else have a loved one that left 5-11-11 or assigned to the same training ship and DIV that has received a letter other then the command letter? Please comment back or connect with me I would love to correspond with you. Thank you.
