WE HAVE SAILOR!

Got the call at Noon. In Ricky Heaven!

Has to do Firefighting ahhhI can't remember the exact term for it...for CCC. Put on his gear and roll up hose. He GOT volunteered for it! Hadn't picked yet...

Says they have won just about every Flag they can along with the penants. Just missing one penant I think.

WOO-HOO...WOO-HOO...(me danicng around the room!)

He had me use speaker phone for his bros and tried to trick us by sounding depressed! Which ...yes, worked because of the situation!

So happy for you Julie, what a wonderful surprise! I just heard from my youngest sailor,M., and waiting for P. to call. He's probably still on the phone with the GF. Hurry up! LOL
Julie, that is awesome news.  Ben said J.D. designed the division flag and they all love it.  I heard the same things from Ben.  He said he is eating m&m's in Ricky Heaven, thoroughly exhaused, but happy.  He felt the same way about capping.  Lucky you that you get to see JD all weekend!!!
The blue candles worked!!  They are all sleeping now, thank goodness.  What a blessing this has all turned out to be.  AM Sailor, thank you for joining us and giving us guidance and information along the way.  The sailors do love Senior.  I keep hearing about how he's "cool."  Sleep well tonight Moms and Wives of the 180.
I also received a T-shirt with the division flag on it.  Why a clown and a whale?   I thought it would be more nautical, it's not at all what I imagined.
lol...We got called clowns too...Our t-shirt is a giant clown face with everyone in our division's name on it. Good to know the clown thing is still going! :)
I heard the background story on the mermaid.  I'll tell you at PIR :)
Love it.  Your son is spunky and he is a sailor!!!  congrats to all of our guys.
I've never been so excited for a division that wasn't mine! lol I saw the post about Rec Hev on the RTC Facebook and I just had to reply...and then I had to come here and post something. I don't know why I feel so proud of these guys who I don't even know, but I guess I just like knowing that there's someone out there being trained by the same person who trained me, and I can relate to everything they're going through...Heck, I don't even know what I'm talking about, I'm all excited...I feel like I went through BS all over again. This next week is going to go slow for them though...a lot of waiting around, trying to kill time...(and sneaking naps in the laundry room lol). One more week...Congrats to all your fellas :)
lol welcome to the family! :D I had to do an award board thing in boot camp and one of the questions was "If you could add a fourth navy core value, what would it be?" And I said something like camaraderie. Because "I know that when I see a Sailor walking down the street, I can trust them, because they're part of my family, and I know they have my back just like I have theirs." It really is one of those things you don't get until you're doing it for real. It's definitely a giant, extended family :)
AM Sailor:  Would you explain what an honor division is and how our guys might qualify?  They won Captain's Cup today (does this get any better?) and killed on Battlestations.  Are they in the running?  If the Senior PO has anything to do with it, they are in good shape.  Thanks so much for your input and congratulations 180!!!

Thank you Julie! :)

Hot damn! I saw the post on Facebook...Capt's Cup AND Motivational chant...just like my division!! I'm seriously thinking Senior Chief is the the reason they're beasting...he's the common factor here lol He knows how to take awesome, motivated individuals and make them come together as a team. Whoever gets him next is lucky.

Honor division...that could mean CNO flag winners. From hearing about everything they've done, I can almost guarantee they'll at least get the Battle E flag...which not everyone gets. And they just might get CNO too! The averages from everything they've done, Capt's Cup, BS, drill academics, etc, is added up to their overall score which determines whether they get Battle E or both Battle E and CNO. I'm pumped right now, I'm glad they won today...And I really hope they get CNO too! You guys have to post on here after graduation and let me know! lol
