My son said something about a call in one letter and then said in the next (I got them at the same time) that he wouldn't get to call because they had to study or something.

OK, tell me what that means... blue candle?  I feel so behind.
lighting the blue candles from 8pm to 8am while they are doing battlestations is supposed to bring them good luck :)
Can't wait to light that candle!
Hi All- I just received a letter from my daughter. She told me that last week was hell week, and they passed and flagged (award for doing really well) in drill,  Test 2, and their last inspection ! Bravo! (or is it Booyah now?!)  I just know that they are are going to excel at Battle Stations!
Yeah he said they have four flags now. That they earned all within a couple days lol.
Got 3 letters today.  That's a record for my SR.  I usually one get 1 a week.  Sounds like they're doing great!
I got 2 letters today! So glad they are doing well!!
Did any of your SRs tell you when Captains Cup was?  It normally would be the Sat before PIR (May 28th for you all).  But I'm reading that they may do BattleStations the night before?  That never happens...because then they couldn't compete in BattleStations and it is for all divisions.  Hmmmm....Would make more sense for them to do BattleStations on Monday night.  They won't go Sunday night because of the holiday Monday, but they usually go the night of a holiday like this.  Trying to get the schedule correct in the BattleStations discussion group.
Your guess is as good as ours right now.
My husband said that they're hoping to do it that Monday night, but because of the holiday it may be moved to the Friday before or the Tuesday after. I asked him in several letters to let me know as soon as he knows, but all he could give me was a guess. His RDC told him they weren't sure yet when they could due to the holiday. We probably won't find out until this upcoming week's letter.
I don't know how he made it possible but my hubby sent me flowers!! Red roses and a card :)
