Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hello all!

Please post your Ship/Division number in this discussion that way we know what all divisions and ships are included in this PIR group. It is very helpful for later groups to be formed as well as knowing who is in our group!!

My Husband is ship 9 divison 189
HI!! Finally I found another wife in the same divison as my husband.  Ive gotten a total of six letters so far and four phone calls.  the day after the phone call is the worst for me.  I did get a letter on monday from my hubby that said his divison was getting mail in and out everyday now.  the date on the letter was april 27th.  I havent gotten another one since monday tho.  just thought Id give u that info.

My son is in ship 11 division 185

Hi all,

I just found this tonight and so glad !! My daughter is ship 7 div 187... She is doing great but it is just good to see ya'all and know i'm not going through this alone. I can't wait to see her at graduation 3 weeks from today we will be there !! Woo hoo!!! Recieved a letter today and had to laugh she said she didn't know you could sleep standing up ..LOL Her best friend is ship 7 div 188...

My son is in ship 7 div 188 too so he must know your daughter's best friend.
Ship 04 Div 812   I am Hold Fast Mom... my son is in this division.   Friend me! I am new and have trouble finding all the stuff on this extensive website.

My daughter is SHIP 09 DIV 190

My only pride and joy is ship 09 ship 192 and he is doing great.  His letters sound good and as most mothers know you can tell by the words that they chose how they are.  He is good
