Recieved a call from my SR last Thursday.  It sounds like the division is doing well.  They apparently earned a flag for doing well on a test.  They have managed to agree on some procedures for the division to help the "head crew" clean the bathrooms more quickly (sounds like teamwork to me).  It sounds like they've even managed to have a laugh or two.
If you think you've already read this you probably have.  I am new to the site and made a mistake with my initial attempt to post this.
Hi my SR is also in this division.  I am not a Navy Mom, I am a Navy Spouse. I have only received 1 call from her a couple of weeks ago. I have received a couple of letters from her. she is worried that the division they may get ASMOED because they keep getting hits on their compartment inspections. I told her not to worry about this. they won't hold back the entire division for this.  At least I wouldn't think so.  She did say that she liked the food.  she said they had chicken gumbo and blackened fish the other night, she said it it was really good.  well at least they are getting fed well.   that's all I have for now  bye
I actually asked about an entire division being held back on the navy recuit training command facebook page.  The official answer was an entire division is not held back, only individuals.

Received a letter from my SR.  He has a sore knee so he is on light limited duty.  Sounds like sitting around alot observing.  The letter was dated 5/12 and he had to sit out of Marlin Spike.  He didn't indicate how the division did, but at least we know they have completed Marlin Spike.

Just got a letter that says they earned another flag for passing zone inspection.  Don't know the date of the letter because he never dates his letters.
I recieved a letter today from my SR.  She writes several before sending them all at once.  She said on may 12th 3-5 day they did marlinspike.   On friday 4-1 day they did PFA.  she did well on everything but the run. :( she missed it by 11 seconds.)  She is having a hard time because she is has been sick, her nose is running all the time and raw from wiping it all day.    On may 16th they started their weapons training with laser guns.  17th they went for the real weapons firing.   I am a bit sad because she had a chance to make a phone call but she didn't make it because she is not feeling well and didn't want to go outside in the cold weather to the building where the phones are .  Maybe next time.  Thats all the news I have for now
Its been over a week since I've received a letter.  Does anyone have any new updates about how the division is doing?

I recieved a letter from my wife on thurs.  she said that they did firefighting this week (Damage Control Training) she did say they have holiday routine today memorial day. They are doing their final PFA the beginning of June.  I asked her how many flags they have earned, she said 3.  one for Academic, Zone Inspection and Drill.  On monday they recieved some more shots, don't know what for.

Thank you.  My SR had been writing regularly with tidbits of information, so no letter for a week is making me crazy.  There is flooding, but I don't think that would delay mail, so I assume he's busy and hasn't had time to write.

She also called me on sunday, but it was very short about a minute. she was worried about her final PFA.  for some reason she couldn't talk very long. she told me when BS was but I don't want to post it here because of OPSEC.  I am former navy so I take this percaution seriously.

I know phone calls can be made as late as 10:00 and I don't have any missed calls on my cell phone or home phone so has anyone heard from this division regarding BS?
I received the I'm a Sailor call today around noon west coast time.  2pm GL time. They passed BS and my SAILOR  thought it wasn't too hard. she said it was fun.  She said she was tired but in good spirits.  She did mention that they may get another phone call tomorrow.  maybe your SAILOR will call then.
