Oh no kidding ?/ Thank you for the info ! I`m not allowed to have my cell on me at work ... I`m off friday I guess I will willl have to beg the boss .. Thanks again !!
Hi Everyone, Glad to get some feedback on what you're wearing.Went shopping yesterday and I couldn't find anything :(  I'm going with black slacks and a blouse with flat shoes. I heard it's quite a walk from the front to the ceremony building. Oh Brettany, you're husband is going to be so glad to see you when you wear that dress!!! It is so cute, and the price makes it even better. I love a good bargain! I agree with you on California, I'm tired of it here too. There's so much crime and people are always in a hurry. My youngest son is looking at Oregon State next year. I would love to move up there too, I don't think he's crazy about the idea LOL!  Mamasea is your SR going on to Hawaii after Monterey? The reason I ask is my son has talked about "a really cool guy" he has met going to Monterey and then Hawaii. Just wondering if that could be your son?? Have a good day everyone!!
If he is planning on Hawaii he hasn't told me! lol.  I hope not but whatever he does I'll live with it.

Got 3 letters from my husband today!  Any yes their BS is going to be tonight! I can't wait to hear that wonderful voice tomorrow!!! I'm bawling right now thinking of it! He said they will get to go to the NEX and make phone calls and buy whatever they want lol! (Why do I have a bad feeling about that! hahaha like kids in a candy store). He has pink eye... and he's not the only one... some have it in both eyes! He also got an infection in his mouth from his oral surgery! I will spare you the details in how they relieve the pressure and what his analogy was! Gross but HILARIOUS (what he said, not the infection)! He said he is going to be carrying a flag at graduation... He will be the guy right behind the guy carrying the DIV # flag! But he doesn't know what flag he is carrying exactly as it is constantly changing!  He only missed 4 out of 60 on his last test! I am so proud of him! AND we get special seating at graduation because he is an Honor Grad!

He asked me if we could go to a baseball game after PIR lol. I know he misses his sports when he requests a White Sox game because he's a die hard Angels fan! I will see what I can do... But I worry about his curfew.

I am missing him so much tonight! Knowing its so close and that I will get to talk to him tomorrow just makes it kind of tough for the time being! I am more than ready for all this to be over! lol! And even with all the complaining, I am SOOOO proud of him and I am so Proud/happy for what he is doing for us and our future family!

I am so excited to meet you ladies when we all go to graduation! I don't know what I would've done without these support groups!!! You are all amazing and I am so glad we could meet!

Thats great Brettany !! Cograts !! Do you think just the men are doing the BS tonite?/ and the women are doing them tomorrow or go  they go together being they are in the same Div ?

I would assume they go at the same time. He originally told me it was going to be tomorrow night but then his letter that I got tonight said it was tonight and that calls would start going out at 4pm their time.  But yeah I'm pretty sure they all go together! =)

Oh ok thank you so much !!  I lit my candle so Good luck to all and Congrats!!
Thanks for the info Brettany and congrats again!! I have my blue candles burning for my boys and for all our SR's in division 189!!!
Me too! I had to run out and buy one about an hour ago, but it's lit and goin!  I am so proud of all of our boys... I guess I should say MEN!  And women!  Great job raising them ladies! Can't wait for my phone call tomorrow afternoon! And just a heads up when it comes to phone calls... apparently like all 4-5 DIVs go to the NEX at the same time to make their calls and get 20 or so mins each, so don't be discouraged if your call doesn't come right away... there is something like 200 sailors waiting at a time to get their chance to call home! Have a good night if you're even going to be able to sleep! haha
Has anyone heard from their SR's about the time they will have after PIR. I guess it depends where they're going to A school that determines when they will leave. My two are going to Pensacola for IT. I have heard from a couple hours to all weekend. I'm confused and would like to make plans. I thought the Navy Pier sounded like a fun place to take them. Brettany, I also saw boat tours that go around the city....looks romantic!! :)
Sounds like a blast! And from what I heard on the rtc page, if the are not staying in gl for a school they will fly out on saturday. Not 100% sure though... Just what I heard. My husband said the should get their orders at the beginning of the week, and that will have their exact flight times and what not... Hope it helped a little!!
Anyone get a call yet???
