they were supposed to have the final PFA yesterday.. looks like BS will be 5/31 to 6/1 and those of us that get calls should be on 6/1.. look at the main page for what I just posted about Battle Stations.. It explains a little bit.. as far as a site to go to I don't know

There is a bad storm brueing here.. got to go.. will talk to you again Sandra D

im good :) i miss my SR so much. the anticipation is killing me. how are you doing?

any info you have to share is great! thanks so much :)

@sandraD- my SR said our div might get a call this Friday and as giraffe said, they are scheduled for a call on 6/1-the "sailor" call! :) 8 days ladies!

This site is SO helpful, and you all are so great at sharing information. I'm relieved to hear when BS might be and also when to perhaps expect a call. I've been going around with my phone glued to my hip for a couple of days now. Who needs to work out when you're awaiting an important phone call? Shoot, I could probably go into major league baseball the way I've been running and diving for the phone the past few days! LOL

I've read that some are even sleeping with their phones.. thinking they will get a call in the wee hours of the morning.. Don't think that happens, but I guess you never really know for sure..

I keep checking here for updates.. just in case also :o)

Good Morning to all.. my son is ship 09 div 192.. or 09/192...I'm not sure, but don't think any of us received phone calls because they had the Captains Cup on Friday because of Memorial Day holiday... In any case we only have 4 days until we are in GL and 5 to see our sailors.

Keep in mind not only are they one of the last divisions to go to Battle Stations.. they are a push division.. along with their brother div 191. and have had to do and fill all Navy requirements a lot sooner than the other divisions so Boot Camp has been tuffer on our soon to be Sailors

We should receive " I'm a Sailor " phone calls on 6/1,. but keep in mind not all of us will, some will have practice for PIR if they are in the band or chorus, others will practice for PIR honors, and yet others may have watch or other jobs they must do..

Lets all pray we all get phone calls.. who knows.. maybe with them being the last divisions doing BS for 6/3 graduation.. they will get to...

Thanks for that info, Giraffe. I've been sitting on pins & needles wondering if everything has been going OK. It's a bit difficult to leave everything to faith without any verbal or written confirmation but, if I'm going to put everything in God's hands in all things, I've got to do it with this also, right? :)

I'm still not understanding the big picture about this "PUSH" division thing. Why are they one? Is it because some (or all) are DEP SRs? Or are the DEPs distributed throughout all the 6/3 PIR divisions and ships?

BTW I think I like "tuffer" better than "tougher". It sounds, well...tuffer. ;)

Oh my Gosh.. I spelled tougher.. tuffer.. hhaaaahaaaaaahaaaaa.. can't believe I did that

BeccaBee I'm not sure why they ended up in the Push divisions.. It could be because of DEP.. you wouldn't think so.. My son enlisted August and had to wait until April before going to BC, because of the job he qualified for and picked.. he was told it was to make sure the "A" school in Pensacola had slots open .. Honestly, I don't have any idea how the Navy determines who is in the Push divisions.. It could be their scores at MEPS, the jobs they pick, or random.. Which is my guess :o)

teehee thanks for the tuffer thing lol

Oh also the push divisions have to finish their requirements in aproximately 6 1/2 weeks compared to 8 weeks the others get.. hope that helps

Wow I really thought there might be some news on this site before now...

HAVE A NICE AND SAFE MEMORIAL DAY!!!

Got the candles burning, praying for the SRs and some patience for me (for ALL of us) to get through this LOL.

Side note: does anyone have any recommendations for authentic chicago pizza? My son's request is for pizza after graduation.

Becca I was told Giordano's or http://silopizza.com/ were two of the best
