Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!
Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!
Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

wow, gotta check this more often! Any of you on the RTC facebook site? WE have a group for DIV 208 there in discussions; it's nice because the public affairs folks will chime in with info...
NO mail at all last week...it was Hell Week and others heard they were all sick...hoping next week is better!

Well that's scary I didn't know our division was sick I havent heard anything in over a week either

I won the trivia question on the other site - they will post a picture of our division today! We get to see them with our own eyes!!!!!

Just saw the picture on Facebook! Thank you so much Patty for answering that trivia question so fast! You made my day to get to see my son! I made that picture my background picture on my computer.
I have received about 6 letters and one phone call but I have not received a letter this week. Still crossing my fingers! He sounds good. He got sick in the beginning when he first arrived but I haven't heard if he is sick now. Hope not!! I have my flight, hotel and rental car all lined up as well.

on the main facebook site for rtc, on the left is a "Discussions" tab, if you click there, we have a group of us that chat daily in there! We need to start talking about meeting up on the 16th!!!
