I think I've seen at least two other moms on here with the same ship/div.

So, here's a group just for us!

On the other page i saw Battlestations set for May 26th & 27th ? Anyone have an update?
I have had 2 letters from my SR confirming May 30 as 190's BS date--He has also written that date to some of his friends.  This date was given to them I believe when they were briefed about the activities during & after Hell Week.  So I'm going with May 30 unless I have another letter today telling me different.  It makes sense when you consider that May 30 is a Holiday.  They will have gotten their day off & then they're aboard the Trayer that night & into the following day (Tuesday.)  Please post if you get anything more current from your SR!
I am so happy to have found this- looked around by searching and could not find anything and just happened into the group.
I got the call yesterday afternoon also.  My, now, Sailor, was eating orange slices and was not the all excited, 'I'M A SAILOR!!' that I have seen some of the families' get. I had to ask him if he was a Sailor and he said 'yep'.  He said the capping ceremony was a little emotional but BS wasn't as awful as some had said-maybe the division worked together really well. He said they've gone through these last few tests very quickly. He mentioned banners also, so we will see them at PIR!

Received a call from our Sailor also.  He sounded good but tired.  I guess they had two days with very little sleep.

We're so proud of Ryan also.  He said earlier that his div got all their flags.  Ship 09/Div 190

So glad you heard from him- Hoping I hear from my daughter soon. Always a bit of concern when you see that others have gotten their call :-)
Got a message from Daughter's BF - She called him - lol - of course - feeling much better

Does anyone know how 09/190 did at Captain's Cup?

It's hard to believe that I'll be seeing my Sailor this Friday.  We missed his "I'm a Sailor" call last week.

So disappointed.  But, he left a message - he was eating Cheetos!  And he asked that we bring his cell phone so he can get some numbers from it.  He'll be getting a new one when allowed (I'm sure he can find a better discount than my plan!).

Only problem is, I have no idea where his charger is.  We've been so busy, we haven't gotten to clean up his room yet.

I am so excited I could just about run out & get in the car NOW!  LOL  We are looking forward to meeting other 09/190 families.  We get to sit together, right?

Just talked to my SR on instant message - so glad as have not been able to get a recent phone call! Can't wait to see her!
bring to a store u can buy a new one .
