Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

I don't know... someone else suggested that maybe some of the people had watch and that's why they couldn't call. So who knows.

Ok ladies...what did I miss? Who is biting heads off? I don't see any comment from Maria. I got 2 emails that follows this and it says Maria posted twice. How come I can't see her postings?

I have an iphone and it kept going off with all the emails!! it was driving me nuts haha, so I went to my settings on my profile and changed it so it only allerts me on somethings! Hope that helps :]

lol I know on one post I explined how moody I have been lately and that I'm biting heads off haha. Maria mentioned about not wanting to get hers bitten off by veteran moms for asking questions.

I will have to ask my daughter about watch...that is her job...Starboard Watch. She has to make sure all paperwork is in order but what I understood she oversees the schedule for the watch. If so, I will have to tell her she has to give all our SR's good times!! :)

My grandson is also Div.932 ship02.I have only had two letters from him,but I was so excited.I do not know what his job is.I am told by my daughter that he is suppose to go to A school in Conn.That is sure a long way from Texas.We are going to his graduation and can't wait to see him. We are so proud of him and all our service men and women for giving us the freedom we have.My son retired from the Navy after 31 years.
