Hello ElleBee,  Next week seems to be a big week for us all. My son Andrew is departing on June 14th, I would like to place him on the june bc calender but I'm not sure how. Do you have any idea?  If you do I'd really appreciate it, Thanks mom4life
Thanks for your support ElleBee, I did e-mail Midwestmom. I think it's probably helpfull so then I can follow along with everything, Tuesday the 14th will be a tough one, thanks again, mom4life
Got you added, mom4life (love your screen name).  These ladies are awesome!
Thanks so much Midwestmom,   I noticed our sign in name on the bc june calender, oh please don't let me break down on tuesday, lord give me the strengh. Again thanks so much!
My boyfriend left june 2nd... Anybody hear anything yet? Box? letter?
The few leaving last week weren't quite as active so you may learn the most on the Boot Camp Moms group.  They've been asking questions there, but we're more than happy to help you here too.  If he's sending The Box to you, you should get it really soon...and the form letter as well.  Once you have the form letter, you'll have his address and can send off all those letters you've been writing.  It really is their lifeline.  As one woman said it, when she went through BC and was having an awful day, messed up, got screamed at, felt as low as low can be...as soon as she received a letter from home, her whole attitude changed and she was happy and feeling positive again.  Remember, keep your letters as positive as you possibly can.  Now is a time to support them and not worry about 'us'.  We come to this site and whine about 'us', lol.  :)
I would like to be able to post my son Andrew on the june 2011 calender he leaves for bc on June 14, 2011 is there any one out there that knows how to do this, I would appreciate your help!! Mom4life
ElleBee - it is young mothers like you who are willing to raise their children alone (if only for a short time) to allow their husbands to serve that have all of my respect.  I can't feel sorry for myself when you are the one who is sacrificing and you are on here helping others.  Thanks to you and your husband for your service.
I do think of both of my boys as my babies. I am, however, oddly calm. Sam is 27 and I thought I let go a long time ago but I never realy did. We've been through so much with him over the years and almost lost him 3 different tiimes so I guess going into the Navy isn't having the effect on me that everyone expected, including me. Enjoy your babies - they grow way too fast.

Not sure how to add myself but I'm leaving the 14th of June. Good luck to everyone!

Midwestmom will add you! I just dont see that she has been online yet today. And good luck to you! Hope you have a great BC experience!
leahscottsdale, Thanks I did e-mail her so hopefully when she gets a chance she will be able to do that, thanks so much for your well wishes!!
