Hello! My boyfriend is a nuke and in ship 02 and division 932. I though it would be nice to make a place for anyone else with the same division and/or ship to talk and share information! I hope I find some others(:

My mom loves him(: She thinks he is absolutely perfect. My dad and I don't have much of relationship so his opinion doesn't matter so much. Knowing him Id try to call and tell him and he'd make me talk to his secretary first so that he could focus on whatever else he was doing and can deal with me later. He sent me to her to pencil in my grduation UGH. and no, his mom still thinks im the devil. I'm trying to suck up though because I need that parking pass and she has the password and my genius doesn't remember what he put as one. Honestly though, I think id be too happy to care about any negative feelings. My only fear is that my mom would refuse to keep paying for college, cause I can't afford it myself and intend on finishing, I dont think she'd do that though.

I will just have to worry when the time comes.

Sorry to hear about your relationshiip with your dad. I grew up not really knowing my dad so I know what it's like not having a relationship with one.   Both my daughters grew up with a poor relationship with their dad...and they turned out great!!  Sounds like you are doing just fine too!!  I'm sure your mom is proud of you as well.  Don't military wives get schooling paid too?
I think there's something like the person in the military can transfer their gi bill to their wife and/or kids.  Not totally sure, but something like that.
yeah I remember my daughter mentioning something...not sure either.
well, I'll find out sometime. I think i still have a few months, he wont be asking anything without doing it properly. I've already been informed because I said no ring was fine but he says he's going to do it right when he does, so ive got a little time(: Definitely before he finishes all his schooling though. It's exciting just wondering what he's got up his sleeve haha!

MEET AND GREET!

how many of you are planning to be there? I will be making a DIV 932 sign so look for that when you get there and we can all sit together.

We will look for the sign. Our grandson is there. We will arrive on Thrusday at 2Pm at Chicago Ohare and will be staying at the Navy Lodge. He is grad and go but we will hae to stay until Sunday because of our flight. We are looking forward to meeting everyone.

you will not miss the sign I promise. I am a huge fan of glitter, we will stand out! my boyfriend is also a grad-n-go, I'm at the navy lodge too!
That is good because we are going to be so lost.I hope we can find our way from ohare. Thanks so much.Maybe we will see you there.

Aw, that must have been the pain in the butt IT my boyfriend mentioned. Hopefully they get their act together soon! It's nice they got some things to put on their uniforms though, at least we are almost done.

I hope you get some happier letters soon(:

I'm so glad that your husband tells you whats going on! My brother wrote me one letter that was two and half pages long, and a page and half of it was telling me why I would make a good officer in the Navy (rolling my eyes...) so he didn't tell me anything except that the people in their division didn't know how to keep their mouths shut. Thanks for the update!!
That is awful.  My son told me they are talking to a few members that are making it miserable for the who division.  Some already were sent home and others had to go back to week 1 of boot camp.  Wow, that would be a bummer, but at least they give them a 2nd chance. The windows shut and working hard is awful, but I guess that is the military.  It makes the stronger stronger and helps flushes out the weaker ones.  Yes, they certainly need our prayers this week and next to finish strong!  They can do it!
