What program is everyone's son going to?  Sorry if it's a repeat question!  Caron, your son is diving, so heading to Pensacola?  Has diving been a hobby for him growing up?

The mailbox...sure is a source of joy when the letter's there and extreme let down when it's not.

I

My son will be going to Panama City after another 5 weeks or so in GL.
our boys will be together in Dive Prep!
Great!  My SR said there are about 20 fellow divers in the division.  Guess we'll eventually find everyone.
No letters for us for 2 weeks either....He told me on the phone last week that he may not be writting as much bc of being so busy!!  I guess no news is good news.  Come on July 1st
Me either.  At least you can ask your daughter in law to read her letters, if she gets them.  It might be like SWCCMOM said, though, that they don't have time to write.

Hi All

I feel as if I have been out of the loop with computer problems and work load. I have been reading all the posts and that helps.

My son is SWCC and we live in the northeast so Coronado seems so far. He too has been training for over a year. I have  receieved some mail but of course not as many letters as I had hoped. And I missed one call ..... phone in no man's land in my purse for 5 minutes!

Oh well.

I am so proud of him and miss him.  Can someone tell me more about the t shirts? I am counting the days for PIR.

How long are people staying? My SR has not indicated how long he will have for leave.

thanks to all for sharing

Mb

The t-shirts have the divisions flag on the back of them.  As far as how long we are staying, right now we are only planning on staying through saturday sometime.  My SR hasn't stated how much liberty he will get.  We do know that he will have to move his stuff immediately after the PIR since he is to stay in GL for his Pre-Diving.  We'll then get him the rest of Friday but we don't know if or how long we can see him on Saturday yet.  We're kind of just rolling with it.
If he is staying in GL you should get him 8-8 Sat and Sun. also.
My SR seems to be frustrated with some of the division also.  Same deal with some not listening, etc.  Hopefullly things will pull together in the end.  It's really quite funny to hear him say these things, he used to be one of those that didn't know when enough was enough.  He finally figured it out before he left for BC but it's even more apparent now.
Thanks so much for posting this! I was frustrated to hear from my SR and others that so were not taking things seriously enough. I am so relieved to hear that they won a flag for best PT scores! Strong indicator that they are pulling together as a team I hope! Yeah 813!
Remember, things move fast there, so when you get your letters, things are usually already changed from when they wrote them. The RDC's are good at getting them on the right page so it will come together.
