Hi everyone:

Any word on your recruits? Do you think they have started week 3 today?

I have not heard any word from my boyfriend as of yet, but I am thinking later this week the letters will start coming! We just have to stay positive and constant encouragement =) I would say they have officially started week 2 considering the first week is P week for the purpose of processing. So yes it would be the 3rd week of boot camp. It just depends how you want to look at it. Boot Camp is 9 weeks long including the P week.

Laura,  Looks like your boy and my girl are in the same division!   So far I only know one other person that has a loved one in our division.  Seems to me this is the beginning of week 3 for our kids, they left two weeks ago (gosh, it seems longer).  I haven't heard anything since the form letter.  'Fraid we may be waiting awhile for that phone call, and if they wrote long informative letters yesterday, I expect we won't see them until the end of the week.  We just have to believe that if we don't hear anything, its good.  I'll let you know if I hear anything.

I'm glad you started this discussion, maybe we will be able to find the rest of our division.

Ruth

Good to hear from you Ruth! What information did your daughter give you in the form letter?
Hi all...wondering if I can be in this group as she is Ship 11 Div 238?  I haven't seen anyone else with that division?  Ruth and Laura....I feel like we have been in this since the beginning and nice to meet you florida_girl ship!
Yes, Kathy, it does seem like we've been together from the time we watched our kids leave.  I was hoping we would get the same division since they all went about the same time.  Still, seems like we are all in the same "ship", if not div.  Doesn't look like we have too many members from this ship, so it make sense to stick together.

Hi, guys.  I got a letter today.  My girl sounds pretty positive considering.  She wants me to post on facebook that she will be graduating (she had some "friends" that were skeptical).  She said they didn't get through P days and on their permanent ship until the 8th.  They are a "push division" but it appears that most of the divisions in this PIR are push.

Seems like a lot of what she has been through was pretty boring; her words are "11 days seems like 3 weeks.".  She also said they have already lost 6 from the division. Mostly she is ready for the ordeal to be over.

Laura, I think the "push" means that they end up having 7 weeks instead of 8 weeks of actual bootcamp.  (The first week was P-week).
Hi Ladies....how are all of you holding up?  Didn't know if you knew about the flag you can order?  I ordered one and they are free!  Thinking of you all......
Hi:  what flag can we order? where? thanks.
ANYBODY ELSE ON SHIP 11 / DIV. 237???
