My fiance is on ship/div 243 , i was wondering if you have gotten a letter from your recruit?
Got a letter today.
Hi. No. No letter yet. Apparantly they write on Sundays so I'm HOPING maybe today IF he wrote. He has a girlfriend and I am thinking that she might see one before myself or Grandma does. If i get one I'll let you know. No phone calls yet either. The waiting is horrible. Can't wait for PIR.
Letters or phone call first?
Well, we got (or DAD got) a letter today so Im going to say letter. But who knows with other recruits. Although when they called us when they first got to boot camp they said expect a call around 3 weeks. And I've heard sometimes its better to NOT expect a call OR a letter. They are exhausted and busy...but I know...that doesnt make me not have my phone on loud volume and with me all the time and from me watching for the mail lady!
My son is on Ship11 Div 244.

I hear they may be brother ships. Where they share baracks and work together.

This short note sounded so much like a robot or something.  I am waiting for the real letter.  Glad you got yours. Aug 5th will be here soooner than we know it!
Cory's short note said "this isnt anything like summer camp" lol
