Okay... I'll send one tomorrow then.  :)   You're closer so they get there quicker.
Just got another letter - wonder if it will be the last! Sounded good - busy week of course, but he was really excited about practicing for graduation!  Hope to have final orders by the time he calls after Battle Stations, so that will be good.  He doesn't think the president is coming now, not sure who will be there.

Lucky you!  Another letter!

What do you mean by "Hope to have final orders..."?

I don't think the president is coming, but rumor has it there will be some one special.

I didn't get a letter yesterday, but I'm hoping for one today.

He said the Yeoman had the orders about when they are leaving, etc, but couldn't give them out yet. But he hoped to know when he calls.  He had heard rumors about when he is leaving, and about liberty time once he gets to A School before it actually starts, but no confirmation yet!
Ah ha.  Thanks for the explanation.  Where is your son going to A School?  My son is going to Pensacola.
He is going to San Antonio. He had been told he would stay in Great Lakes before he went, but I kept seeing that corpsmen were now going to San Antonio and he finally confirmed it.  By the way, I had sent him my own questionnaire - things I had been asking in letters but wasn't sure if he would remember them all (confirming San Antonio, things he wants me to bring, etc.)  He had sent it back last week. But he asked in the letter today if I had gotten the questionnaire from NavyMoms - I had told him I was on here. He said his bunkmate's mom was on NavyMoms and he had gotten a questionnaire from her right after mine got his!
Hmmm... I wonder who it is & if we know her.  I edited the questionnaire to make it more personalized to what I wanted to know, etc.

I mailed out another last week. Found another on site but like you two, i changed a few things and added some other stuff that i had been asking as well.  It could be mine.  His bunk mate is from same state, Indiana.  They rode up together from MEPS, same ship div then bunkmates.

Ladies, this time next week, we'll be meeting at the Ramada!

That would be neat if your boys are bunkmates!
I think it may be WildMom's son from what he said - have tried to friend/message her to see!

Capricorna~

I do not need the 2 bedroom at Residence Inn room.  Do you still need or want?  I have not cancelled yet, I wanted to check with you first.

Hi IndyMom - for some reason, I cannot reply to your posting about the Residence Inn so I'm replying this way (sorry for any confusion).  I realized I need 2 beds in each room so the 2 bedroom suite at Residence Inn won't work for me because it is 2 bedrooms, but only one queen in each.  Thank you SO MUCH for offering it to me, though.  That was very kind of you to remember me.

May I ask, you are still coming to PIR, right?
