AHHHH, I got my first call from my fiance today!!!!! :) :) :) It was sooo nice talking to him!! :)
I know me too!! It was nice to talk to him for 30mins, and to hear everything is going really well. I also got 6 letters, so I would definitely say today was a good day :)))
I got a 26 minute call today and a letter!  My son sounded great.

I got a call from my son last night too! It was only 15 minutes long, but he had to call his dad and girlfriend as well. He is still loving it. That is such a relief to hear. He hasn’t gotten used to the weather yet though. He says one day it’s in the 90’s the next day in the 50’s. He’s from Arizona and Florida where it is hot, hotter or unbelievably hot. LOL

I got a call yesterday, too! It was while I was on my way back from our nearest Navy base to get my military ID/tricare etc. It was only for 19 minutes but it was nice. Supposedly the division isn't doing all that great from what he was saying. I guess there are a hand full of slackers bringing our boys down :( But he said he as an individual is doing really well, so that's good.
Remember not to share too much info here about the nature of your calls and letters... things have a way of getting back to the division that could affect their "qualify of life" while they are there.
I got another call from my fiance this morning!!!!!!! :) :)
Florida Girl=What happened with the Navy Trivia Contest today?

Another ship/division won it :( But there are "random pics" up from today. I don't recognize my husband in any of them, though.

oh dont get me started.... i got the right answer and im pretty sure i would have had it but when i went to go look if my answer was there it wasnt.... some other girl said it happened to her to. i think it might have happened because the server was busy, im telling you a lot of people go on there!!!!! we will try again next week.=)

im sorry for not reminding everyone... i got a little caught up this week with the real world. for the next 3 weeks i will be taking 5 classes to end the rest of summer term, i was already taking 4 and a new one started this week on monday and i already have a test tomorrow, gotta love the 6 week classes. i will be so happy when 4 of them end on the 15th bc then it will be 2 weeks away!!!

I AGREE!! I was on there too and I answered the question in less than 20seconds of it being posted and my answer didnt show up. I was sooo frustrated! maybe if we all keep trying sooner or later we will get it. I search the random pictures every day too in hopes of catching a glimpse of the hubby.
haha me too. i think if any of us see a picture of the group we should post it on here.... if we are allowed???
