I truly did think of you all yesterday, but the majority of my day was spent snuggling, rocking & playing with my beautiful little Samantha.  She smiles and talks/babbles almost constantly!   Beautiful "Nana-time"!  Hugged my son extra amount, got to get all those hugs in before he leaves.

The pics are wonderful!!  Looks like it was a wonderful day.

I always end up behind on news, but can anyone tell me the date & time that CNN will broadcast the MAS program??

CNN/HLN said it should broadcast on July 4th on an every 3 hour or so rotation and then it will rebroadcast more times.  Susan and Molly can be a bit clearer, but they are on their way home right now.

The Oregon packing party was fun.  Packing and wrapping 160 presents, writing a birthday card for each one, stuffing pinatas and packing everything all with the joy of doing it with eight active duty sailors, one active duty marine and their Commander and Captain.  Low key and full of laughter and play time intermingle throughout.

What a great way to celebrate Oregon's first (but not last) packing party and Molly's Adopt A Sailor's third birthday.  Also just a bit of momma brag here, my Sailor Mike and our own Miss Molly share June 27th as their birthday and MAS's Birthday.  Pretty awesome combination.  Mike was our liaison with the NROTC unit to coordinate this packing party and he did an awesome job.  Molly, Susan and Nancy have "adopted" him and he is no longer allowed to stay overnight in Portland or Washington in a hotel....he has 3 more mommas.  He loves them all and that makes me a very grateful mom.

Hello ladies...  what a great weekend!!  Each and every Molly mom was there with us in spirit!!  We felt each one of you with us cheering the project on~

Was so happy to see you Chris, Tammy and Bruce...  hearing that an elk had tried to hitchhike to Oregon with you sure gave us a scare!!

Nancy and Molly...  you are great sisters to share the journey to a packing party with!!

and to each of those wonderful NROTC kiddos that joined us...  hugs and hats off to you!  Our military family is in good hands with you as future officers!  I am so, so impressed with the manner and care you took packing and wrapping boxes!  And am still giggling at how much fun it was to write cards alongside you!  You are welcome to our packing parties anytime!!  And for sure you have mom's here in Washington anytime you are here!!
