I got a letter a week ago with the details of the PIR and broshure.  Ship 11 Division 244.
yes, I got the form letter last week also. Today got our first "real" letter from him.
bsteele100 - My son is also Ship 11 Division 244....!
I got my letter today i cried at the mail box and i hadn't even opened the letter( this is the first time in 3 years me and my fiance have been apart this long and the first time hes been apart from our daughter ) But I got my letter and he says he gets mine too.
When should a reserve a hotel?
Right now hun. The navy rates fill up quick. And then the rooms will fill too. We did Radison. Waukegan.

His dad told me to wait till next month I don't know why? do we have to pay for the rooms now?

Has any one gotten a phone call from their recruit other then the first quick call when they got there?
Caleigh, I would be really worried about 1) getting an affordable rate and 2) finding an available room by waiting until next month. I believe if you have a credit card OR a debit with the visa/mc symbol on it you can use that to reserve your room and they shouldn't charge you anything until you get to the hotel and authorize the actual charges. Make sure you call the hotel directly and make your reservations and ask at that time does making your reservations hold anything on the card. Most do not. Then when you check in you can either pay in cash in full in advance (which is what we will do, although we also held the room with a debit card) or you can have them charge that card or give them a different card and they charge you at check out. Hope this helps.
No phone call here. I pray he has our #'s with him. Since they are usually called from our names in his phone. I have my phone with me and ringer on 24/7.

I do most of the time except at work i have it on me but with ringer off so i wont get it trouble.

I got my call it was only for 19 minutes because their division got in trouble but i loved ever minute i got and it was so nice to hear his voice and to hear him say he loves and misses me and out daughter :) im so happy tonight can't wait to see him.
