well it's a different situation if your child requested you not to go.  Good for you, for following your son's wishes, to many might go to satisfy themselves and disreguard their childs request.  I know that had to be hard on you, not going.
yes it was but i guess what he wanted was the best for him at the time lol not for mom tho
Well I've concluded that I wont have to work out while i'm waiting for my box to arrive. That is because I swear i "hear" the FedEx truck every two minutes, and of course I'm jumping up and running to see if it is actually the FedEx truck.  Which so far, it hasn't been.  But I am getting my "miles" in.  This is not the workout I had in mind to lose some weight.

My Husband leaves on the 28th! =[

well I got my letter today.   yeah!  I was crying as I walked up the driveway, as I ripped it open(being very careful not to ruin the return address)  I cried as I read the four lines at the end, and I cried as I repeated it for everyone I had to call and pass the info on to.
The letter was better for me than the box. Maybe because his stuff smelled like the cardboard and not him and his letter had the little note at the bottom. Congrats.

That's quick. You haven't gotten the box yet, right?

I'm super jealous!!!

Our Fedx doesn't run until the afternoon and our mail lady is running late today!

Isn't that how it always works?  When you're waiting for something they are always late.  My mailman was running late last Friday when my letter came.  After I read the letter I addressed all my letters and got in the car to chase him down so they could be on there way.

I got the BOX!

Of course, I ran to take my youngest to football practice and then pick my husband up and the Fedex man chose to deliver it then! I've been waiting all day! I didn't think he was coming because it was 3:30 when I left! That little rat....I didn't get to squeal and hug his neck!

His clothes were dumped in and his shoes were laying on top. Most of the change had fallen out and was in the bottom. It didn't stink as bad as I thought it would. At some point he must have eaten pizza because I could smell it on his shirt!  I took a picture to show his gf.

I'm so darn happy! It's nice to see his stuff...It's like he's okay because the box came just like everyone said it would! Man, what a relief!

Now where's my letter? LOL!

awww u didnt get the treat of hugging the fed ex man lol just kidding the letter cant be far behind crossing fingers and good thoughts to ya the relief will be 2 times that when u do get it trust me then u sit backa nd pray for the letters to start coming lol hopefully this week i will hear something congrats to ya

Thanks ladies!

Bobbie~I know you will get your letter soon too! I will be praying for you.

ElleBee~ I saw where whatelks67 is doing the "flat stanley" picture of her son. When I saw her pics I thought it was a super cute idea and I thought about you! Maybe you and the kiddos could do something similar. Maybe you could take a picture of him with you while you are doing your daily routine and then send him the pics. It might help the kids and get them excited about the next picture with dad! Just a thought!

This is a good day! :)

thx jvptxmom you are so sweet
