Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

I am so jealous of you girls, my boyfriend doesn't even LEAVE for BC until July 11! But congratulations on making it through, I know I am not looking forward to the 9 weeks but being able to see him at PIR will make it all worth it :) Enjoy your reunions!

That's what everyone says! I guess I'll believe that when I get to that point because right now all I am expecting is it to be very very hard! I am throwing him a surprise party this Friday, I think he'll really enjoy it :)

i thought it'd be impossible but it's do-able just support him as much as you can he's gonna need it. it helps me a whole lot when i hang out with my boyfriends family too. and i'm sure he'll love it , we threw my boyfriend a big bbq before he left and it turned out to be really nice and fun.

It does seem pretty impossible from where I'm sitting right now... but being able to talk to so many people that have alreayd gone through definitely enables me to see the light at the end of the tunnel (sorry for the cliche, all I could think of right now!) Unfortunately his mom got transferred out of state in March so his family is now gone... but I still have my friends and family around and his friends too so I know I can do it!

aw sorry to hear that but atleast you have your friends & family supporting you. this page has deffinitly helped me out knowing that i'm not the only one with a boyfriend in basic because soooo many people doubt me and my relationship and i hate it but i dont care what they say because i know it'll all work out in the end...& oh yeah the first week was horrible and now the time is dragging by , just 2 more weeks for me.

I remember when it was the last week for me too. I thought that was the hardest week because it just dragged on forever. So much happened when my husband was gone. I swear everything that could have happened did. LOL but all that did was make me realize how strong I was and that I love him so much, but that I can do this too.... I wish the very best for you guys!!!!!!
