Hi, so happy to have found you! My son is in this division. I got letters on Thursday, but no phone call, we forgot to send phone card with him but I mailed it on 6/23. Just hoping he got it and it works. Did your sons say how the division as a whole is doing? Are you going to graduation?

My son said that their are 80 guys and gals in his div..Said they are from all different countries so its been nice

getting to know a few of them..He said the hardest thing was the shots thus far but sounds like they are all doing good supporting each other...

Yes we are going to graduation, staying until Monday. Hoping to attend the meet and greet at the hotel...

What about you are you able to attend? Any phone call yet?

We will get to attend PIR, should get there on Thursday and  not leave until Sunday, just incase we get to go to the airport to see him off to Florida. Hoping to attend the meet and greet as well, but will depend on flight times.

I can only imagine the smell and the noise with 80 guys!!

I am so glad you created this group!  I was wondering if there was anyone else that had a son in this division.  I got my first letter from my son today!  He said he had his wisdom teeth pulled.  He is really missing his young wife and son.  He misses me and his dad too.  Did your son sound homesick?

My son sounded a homesick as well but he said that they were so busy that it made it better. Has anyone from our DIV had a phone call? I am really feeling like today is the day! I really need to hear his voice, it's been 3 wks and 4 days since that awful short call.

The letter my sons girlfriend got made me cry..but he sounded much happier today...Sounds like they got some time off yesterday for the 4th so they had a chance to write home...from what I understand it gets much easier after the first 3 weeks. The yelling lessens and the learning begins..Hoping they get a phone call soon...to put all our nerves at ease...

Hi Kathy and Miclelle, heard anymore form your sons? Not anything from mine:(

Just a letter for my daughter last week. Bet you will get one this week as it sounds like they had sometime this weekend to write..My older son has written 2 letters so far and my younger one only wrote one letter thus far to his girlfriend..so must depend on the job that they have, as my older son said his brother is doing good but is all over the place doing things in his job... I bet they will get a phone call soon..sounded like from friends that have went through this that they give them the chance around 3-4 weeks to keep their spirits up..hoping they are right.

O good, I am really ready for a call!! Still only one letter, but maybe today!
Do you know if Div. 245 is the brother division of 246?  My son is in 245.

I am sorry I do not, but I will find out in my next letter..sounds like all the boys and girls got some time

off yesterday for a holiday..bet they enjoyed it after the last few weeks...My boys will be excited to see that they got their first paychecks on the 1st deposited in their bank accts...Sounds like there are about 80 recruits in div 246's compartment all living together, ugh my son said it gets a little smelly...cant even imaging..Was so nice to hear from them..Hoping you are getting a letter aswell..

My daughter is ship 07 div 245. Is that the group that your sons are in? If so yes I heard also from my daughter
