so far I've only met two other people on the Facebook RTC page with SR's in same ship and was hoping to find some more.
We finally got our first letter last week, but no phone call as of yet : (. He stated in his letter they seem to do quite a bit of IT and that his division has a problem talking too much. I wonder if this is cause for them not getting to call home. Anyone else heard from their SR in this division?
Also, FYI, the RTC Facebook page posts a picture of your SR division if you win Tuesday Trivia...so we need more representatives from 10/264 please!

Today is actually the fourth week since he left, but from the sound of his letter the first week was mostly about processing and getting cleared by medical. Hopefully this coming Sunday we'll get a call since I guess it will technically be three weeks into actual training. We just keep writing letters and sending pictures of some of his favorite things, mostly the dogs, lol.
Nice to hear from you, thanks.
Heidi,
My son has the same PIR date and is in the group with Ruth's son (ship 10 div 267) No letter here to date, hoping this week is lucky and we get a note. I keep focusing on the PIR and just so excited to see him. Hope you are well and staying strong.
Take care
One of the things that gets me through the agonizing wait is knowing that "no news is good news". Honestly, I could smack myself for saying it so often, lol. I try to imagine what he is going through with being homesick, missing his friends/family/pets, and most of all home-cooked meals and technology. Just the idea of our young generation having to actually write out a letter instead of email or texting is probably something they'd never thought they'd do! When I think of how his life has changed, I stop feeling so bad for myself just because I can't hear from him as often as I would like. I know he is thinking of us too and he's in good care.
Thanks for responding and God Bless you and yours.
