Awww love that story!!!! Tiffany's, wow, so swanky!!! :) So cute that you were jumping up and down, I love that. :) :) :) <3

Yay December is soo close!

Congratulations missa m!  Brings back memories...my husband and I have been married almost 26 years!

And congrats to that :) Planning a vow renewal anytime soon? My parents had their 25th wedding anniversary marked by doing the Elvis chapel wedding ceremony in Vegas 2 years ago. So much fun!

The Elvis chapel does sound like fun.  We haven't renewed our vows yet as I started a new job a few months before our anniversary and I have been very busy at work.  Maybe we will do it on some random year like 27 or 28.  I used some of my time off for my son's PIR in April and will attend his A school grad which is scheduled for Oct 14.  We will drive to SC which will be about 8 hrs.  So far, he is doing very well in school.  He calls every week after his test to let us know how well he did!

That's wonderful! Can you believe that they are half way through A school on Friday?

PFA today for Class A- rumor has it, it was their last PFA. All passed!

How's everyone doing? Hope you're all surviving the heat....it was 110+ where I'm at today, with a very dangerous heat index according to weather.com - yikes! Hope our Nukes are doing alright with the heat in Goose Creek. Any word on the test today Missa? Can't believe A class graduates in about 2 weeks!!!

Hot in NYC too. Heat and humidity just make already impatient city folks even more impatient (and cranky). No one can focus/be productive.

As for the test, no news yet. Mike texted me to let me know he did well but as for class averages, he hasn't been paying too much attention to it anymore :)

They got their new patches! A lot of them are complaining about how expensive it is to get their new patches sewn on. Haha. I'm like, be thankful for the progress! A lot of Mike's classmates seems to be more concern about flying home and going on leave than graduation. Everyone is excited!

You must be too! August is just a few weeks away!

Hot and humid in Maryland too-got to 100 degrees.  It is still 86 degrees at 11:19 pm-this is insane!  Looking at 101 or more tomorrow!  My son said it is horrible in SC.  So what is he doing?  A few of the guys are going to the Dive to relax after their test today.

My husband and youngest son are driving to SC this weekend to take a TV. game system, etc since his roomate graduated.  I also bought an iron, Swiffer, and some cleaning supplies - I really want to see him iron!  He never did this at home. I wanted to go to SC initially, but they wanted a 'boys weekend'.  I think my daughter and I will stay in the air conditioning and go to the pool instead!

Stay cool everyone!

Sounds like a plan! How I wish I could dive into a pool this very minute.

Just got off the phone with my sailor and apparently, a lot of people are meeting at the Dive this afternoon and heading out to the movies to watch Captain America. Imagine that -- a caravan of nukes off to see Captain America!

3.2 class average for the 7/21 class A test.

Comps for Class A is on Monday- cannot believe it! But first, test on Friday.

How Class M and T are doing alright :)
