Any word from your recruits and what they are up to? I still haven't gotten a letter from my SR yet, has anyone else? I thought it would be nice to start a group for our recruits :)

Your right it was 847, sorry! My fiancé said bs21 is the 20th (today) but I've also heard the 21st which is tomorrow.

I've gotten letters... but no phone call as yet.  I can't wait to hear his voice.  Tell me... what does SR stand for... I thought it was his initials... since they would be S.R.  Who's planning on attending the graduation... aka, PIR?  And, where are you coming from???

Carole

i'm from a different ship and div but SR stands for Seaman Recruit or E-1 paygrade

E-1 Seaman Recruit -SR

E-2 Seaman Apprentice -SA

E-3 Seaman -SN

E-4 Petty Officer 3rd Class -PO3

E-5 Petty Officer 2nd Class -PO2

E-6 Petty Officer 1st Class -PO1

E-7 Chief Petty Officer -CPO

E-8 Senior Chief Petty Officer -SCPO

E-9 Master Chief Petty Officer -MCPO

E-9 (Special) Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy -MCPON

Hope that helps

im coming from Ellenboro, NC
Hey everyone, my fiancee just called me once but I also get letters mainly on thursdays. He said they get to write more now so I also get some on tuesdays or anywhere to my surprise lol. He also said that he runs a lot and does a lot of PT and IT. He hurt his ankle but says he's getting better.I miss him sooo much!
My SR has been really sick and has/had an ear infection :(
Mine had his wisdom teeth taken out/cold and sore throat(from yelling lol)
My son had his wisdom teeth, plus another removed.  And the cold too.... guess it gets spread around.

Was out to lunch this afternoon... realizing I left my phone in the car.  I ran out to get it (just in case he called)... and no kidding, about two minutes after I sat back down... he called!!!  I'd gotten seven letters up till now... but this was the first phone call and he sounded wonderful!!!  All is going well for him and the division!  He said after A school, he will be coming home from August 17 to 29.  Said he noticeably gained muscle mass... this I gotta see!

Got a call from my son yesterday. :-D  He said they are SUPER excited, getting close to the end.  He also said that he's gotten his preliminary duty station (Japan!).  Anybody else hear the same from their SR?
SR called... said Battlestations the 21.  Sounded great!

03/236 did gas chamber today... SR survived!

Was calling on an official issue... so couldn't really talk.  But at least I got that from him.
