Hi everyone, just looking to see if anyone has hear from their SR?  I received my form letter June 13 a week after my daughter left, but not calls or letter from her  yet. I realized they don't have much time to call, but I was hoping to at least get a quick call.

I was too slow too, but then trying to answer while having the stomach flu doesn't help. lol  Maybe I'll be well by next week...and faster.

Hi all,

I'm starting to freak out because it has been a week since I have received any letters from my SR...is anyone going through the same thing? Has anyone heard from their SR's lately? What's going on over there?!?!

Hi:  YES...going thru the same thing.!!!  No letter in 2 weeks. I usually get a letter (got 2 so far) on Thursday..NOTHING TODAY.. Wished I knew why they are not writing...   11/237
Letters can get held up and letters usually only come once a week, that's normal. Depends on how far from GL you are. My first set of letters were a thursday. The next set, a wednesday. Today, I got 3. Depends on your distance and postal system. As well as their mail P.O- they're responsible for getting letters to home out. I didn't get letters until 3.5 weeks in due to the P.O not getting letters sent out in my bf's division.(241)

And my SR said in a letter today that they only pass out 20 letters a day no matter how many are there so there is a backlog of letters to them awaiting reading.  Be patient, if it seems they aren't answering in a timely manner, it's because they haven't gotten your letter yet.

And if they are going to GC they are leaving VERY early Sat am.

Also they had extra time on the 4th to write so yours is probably just held up in the mail...likely will arrive tomorrow or Sat.  I'll keep my fingers crossed for you to get a letter soooon.  I know how hard it is to wait on that letter.  Remember-no news is good news.  Not that that helps much in know.

Thank you ALL for the info!! I got a stack of letters last night! YAY! It got held back because of the holiday, but my SR is doing great!!!

I got 5 letters Friday, they were written different days but posted on July 5th
My daughter is going to be an MA, going to A school in San Antonio. There is another girl in this division with whom she's become friends with, who is also going to be an MA. When she has written it's only to identify them by last name, my daughters name is Heather.
GOT A CALL FROM MY SR TODAY! he said his division got 2 flags! He's also the weapons p.o. and he got a Sharpshooter ribbon! SO PROUD OF MY SR!

I got a call too, the majority of his call went to his dad but I was so glad to hear from him especially since he has pneumonia..power through son.  yes they have flags and everything is going great.  SOOOO proud of my SR!!!!

I got a call yesterday too!!! She got a marksman ribbon, first time ever shooting a gun!! I think my daughter said the division has 4 or more flags. She's a section leader so I'll be able to see her at graduation easier. She said the section leaders march the row behind the flag bearers. She's just getting over the flu and said everyone has been sick. Next week they're doing firefighting and the gas chamber. I don't know if anyone else feels like that time dragged endlessly until now, feels like its flying. I can't wait for graduation and hug my girl
Just got off the phone w/ my SR.  He's doing great and so is the division.  Says they are coming together very well!  I am so incredibly proud of him.  it was wonderful to hear his voice and not have a rushed call!   Can't wait for "THE call" and then PIR.  Hooyah!!!   GO 9/239!!!
